1) clem probably means 0.11 not 0.12

2) why DOSBOX drives you mad and you are sick of it?

sorry was going to the previous post

the thread became towards me, too much "do it if you can" ( + "...ah I thought so you couldn't") for me to go on, so I chose a polite way to go out of this

I am not arguing.

As by "close enough", I mean "forks" that came from original engines. Could happen, couldn't it?

Anyway, this turned into a theory topic. :)

Indeed but has anybody at least checked if there is an engine behind that adventure? This is step #1 I reckon. Maybe it uses an engine already in SCUMMVM or an engine "close enough". Of course maybe it is completely custom built without an underlying generic interpreter, *then* yes the argument is m...

So md5 you show us how outdated the FAQ is? As you know much better than me, SCUMMVM stopped supporting "only SCUMMVM games" looong ago. Now if this game hides a nice "other" engine behind it (and maybe other games are built using it) - or even better it uses an existing in SCUMMVM engine... I don't...

Kosta, missed my last pm above, I think. Anyway, this build doesn't work with my device at all in normal mode. Freezes at the "busy" icon. FSC Loox 720, PPC2003SE, 128MB RAM, VGA I dropped the files over my (before the new build working) SCUMMVM folder. I tried in a "safe mode" (device almost factor...

The problem with (me and) S&M is that AFAIK there is some cartoon series, that was never shown in my country...

So those two guys didn't really ring any bell.

It's probably an insult, but I didn't seem to like much S&M. I know there are people who love it and this even led to a new reincarnation coming up any day now (or is it already out?)... but I couldn't get too "involved" with the characters (was also difficult with Day of the Tentacle but onl...

I still think "ability to" is always better than "inability to". BTW you said it yourself, there are SCUMMVM collections out there, regardless of if SCUMMVM supports warez - it doesn't affect them. If a stupid lawyer comes up, he can already act stupid. Should you stop the whole project? No! OK - we...

Yes fingolfin I know (both about the FAQ and about how zip is handled). My point is (since the first reason mentioned in the FAQ is a non-reason to me - as people WILL do it if they want anyway), that having support for something is always better than not. Nobody will force anybody to USE zip. But i...

ah thanks again

its default settings are ugly though (I mean the "non-mod" looks better than the mod)
