Re: Problem with the IMA ADPCM wav files

Ok, so I ripped and converted the ogg files from the Loom and Monkey Island CDs... if you own the cds, why are you converting to ogg? just dump the file and convert from the raw. from a ds homebrew i just got into, they talk about converting ogg files. the app recommended is audacity . perhaps that...

i am a beta tester of both firmware and hardware. the ak2.1 has no issues what-so-ever. i have done so much benchmarking with them from games to emulation to music to just taking the msd in/out/in/out a few thousand times. i've yet to break any of the 2.1s that i have. the ak2i, however, was rushed ...

i have no idea what this has to do with scummvmds. that "mysterious" video is a new flash linker with an onboard cpu. it allows for decoding of various formats on the media itself. gbatemp has exclusive rights to do the first internet review. no one knowns any details yet about the kit, the battery ...

you failed to state which version of scummvmds you are using. i have found no save issues with dott. the r4sdhc is a clone card and has fat issues (among other problems). the problem with currupt saves is probably related to the flash linker itself. did you format your msd using the panasonic format...

also some games, even on the dsl/dsp, have choppy audio. this is a limitation of scummvm on the nds. you were not specific to which games have issues. perhaps those same games have small issues on the dsl/dsp?

is there any chance of you offering your enhancements to agentq's scummvm build so that it supports your audio files? i'm just thinking of the larger majority who might be reluctant to try another build but who also wish to have the enhanced audio. great job on the audio by the way. the files sound ...

pix: is it required to use your v14 nds compiled port for these music enhancements. secondly, is the freesci engine running in your nds port?

please note that as of akaio 1.4.1 proper the dldi file is broken. it does not cause problems for everyone, but if homebrew hangs swap in the official dldi file. the akaio dldi was coded by hand as the sources were never provided. it is based off of the rpg nand loader. its actually smaller and fast...

after some testing i see that dropping your files in the directory allow them to play. great work, i can't wait to see how the other projects turn out. good luck and thanks for taking the time to do this.

dsdoom can run from anywhere but the wad files and the config need to be in root. snemulds can also run from anywhere but you need that /snes folder in root for your roms. scummvm on my r4 is indeed in a "homebrew" folder, so i'm not sure where your problem comes from.

it could be the speed of your generic msd. use the panasonic formatter on it (google). works fine on my real r4 and the final firmware with a 2gb kingston japanese msd.

they use to make their own ini file. i think around v13 they started to go with 1 ini. i personally liked the old method better for the reasons you already stated.
