There was a recent regression in Kanji support for FOA & MI2, due to changes made to string code of SCUMM engine. Kanji support works in the FM TOWNS demo of Indiana Jones 4 and the Fate of Atlantis again now, try the next ScummVM snapshot.

The problem was due to an earlier version of SDL that broke Windows 95 support, which was included with ScummVM 0.7.1. Update to ScummVM 0.8.0 to solve the problem. Or if you must stick with ScummVM 0.7.1, download the updated SDL runtime from http://www.libsdl.org/release/SDL-1.2.9-win32.zip and ex...

ScummVM and WinUAE both provide graphic filtering, make sure you are comparing screenshots which aren't filtered.

The only known visual difference in the Amiga versions under ScummVM, is minor palette issues in Indy4 and Monkey Island 2.

The demo of the FM-TOWNS version of Indiana Jones 4 and the Fate of Atlantis already provides a good test case for the Kanji issues but the problem is not simple to fix.

One game that I would love to see supported is Igor: Objective Uikokahonia, the first game by Pendulo Studios, since it's a pain in the ass to get the first edition to work fine. There was a latter Windows edition, though. Anyway, I understand this to be hardly feasible, as the game is not very com...

The Feeble Files is a recent addition to ScummVM and there has not been much progress so far. The game will be at least partially playable with ScummVM in the future though. Much of the original source code of the Feeble Files is still in assembler, so doesn't offer detailed information about the la...

Re: Possible to record cutscene sequences?

Hey fellas, just stumbled on the SCUMMVM project, and I have to say, beautiful work! I'm trying to show my younger brother, who lives out of state, what he will be missing if he passes up the opportunity to play this great game, and I'm hesitant to just send him my one and only (10 year-old) copy o...

There was no official Macintosh snapshot of ScummVM provided for testing, but if you had checked the forums you would have noticed someone provided a Macintosh snapshot of ScummVM just before testing started. Specifically at archives.php?thread=1364367

This would not be a ScummVM issue but either a background program interfering or buggy video card drivers. Windows Blinds was reported as causing problems with ScummVM in the past, there could be similar issues with other problems. Some suggestions: Try using msconfig to disable all background progr...
