Yes, the DOS versions of Simon the Sorcerer 1 used an instrument bank (mt_fm.ibk) and custom drum mapping (hard coded) for AdLib, which currently isn't supported by ScummVM.

That is why the music sounds different in ScummVM at the moment.

The earlier games from Humongous Entertainment used 'l' to load a save game, and 's' to save a game.

Sounds like you have UAC enabled in Windows 7, and the migration script is failing to find the saved game files. Try this manual method: Select 'Saved Games (old default)' from the Saved Games section of ScummVM on the Start Menu. Select the 'Compatibility Files' option in Windows Explorer. Highligh...

The currently supported Polish 2CD version was reported as been included with a magazine too.

Do you have a game33 file? as that is where the Polish text should be stored, judging by previous post on Polish 2CD version.

Where did you get this Polish version? as it sounds like this an bad or unofficial port. All the text is stored in the data files, seems like it was not completely translated in this version. That is why the game is been incorrectly detected as English version too. The 2CD and 4CD Polish versions of...

Try using HFV Explorer to extract the Macintosh versions directly from the CD.

3 new and not yet playable demos from the mac part of the "Freddi Fish en Loebas: Water Werken" CD : pajama2-demo-mac-nl.zip puttrace-demo-mac-nl.zip spyfox-demo-mac-nl.zip These all exit with Bad ID in indexfile (even when you add the md5). It may be the same issue as I found with the mac Ballon g...

Re: Game Demos required

Actually looks like we don't have any Pajama Sam 1 Windows Dutch demos, as the link on our web page is an error (links to the Pajama Sam 2 demo).

Maybe try posting your links as words only (without the http prefix), or more separated between the dots, to avoid the spam trigger.

You already appear to have this demo...
There are two Dutch game demos of Pajama Sam 1, and we only have one game demo so far.

It might be a little of topic, but is this game freeware? I just went to wikipedia to read what this game was about, and spanish wikipedia has a link for downloading the whole game. Please tell me so I know if I must delete the link on the article or else, if it is in fact freeware, I'll download i...

Anyone interested in playing through the Waxworks again? we could still use feedback on whether the game can be completed without bugs.

The PC version should be completable, since the save game issue was resolved, and progress is saved correctly.
