Wow looks much better than the first one. They definitely have a bigger budget this time. Did Lechuck's voice change though? It doesn't sound like the original actor, which would be a shame.

Which ScummVM version are you using?

HBL is known to still be unstable at this point. If it works for a while and then stops, it's quite likely that the game runs out of memory, which, from what I understand, is one of the problems with HBL.

From what I understand, they're constantly working on HBL to improve it. Once it's a more stable platform we can look to see if any extra tweaks are needed.

Any idea which ScummVM version works with HBL currently?

Oh and I managed to get all endings but the Dektora ones by choosing to do different things a minute or two before the ending.

According to this page , some endings depend on things you did in the first act. But, as I said, I didn't get the impression that anything I did really had any meaningful impact so I had no incentive to replay it. (Though perhaps I will some day. It is a very pretty game to look at.) Actually this ...

OK well if you don't get another crash while playing, it's most likely a Simon engine problem ie. a general scummvm problem. But a save game is a must to make any progress on it, as it's possible it was just some random thing. If you do get a crash again, it could either be a PSP issue or a ScummVM ...

since seven years our project exists now, and we've already sent two or three requests to LA, without any answer. of course that's not an acceptance, but we're optimistic enough to think, that LA is not such a big asshole to let us work for over seven years without giving one short answer after rea...

I remember thinking that Blade Runner was an unusual game. I played through it twice, and got two very different endings but the game seemed to consider them both equally valid. Usually when there's more than one ending, there's one ideal ending and one or more less ideal ones. On the other hand, I...

Haven't played it, but by the reactions here... Makes me sad how a game can have so much going for it and still miss the mark by so much. They put so much effort into the graphics and neglected the plot, which is the heart of an adventure game...

I don't know how well supported the Spanish version is.

1. What version of ScummVM are you using?
2. Have you tried playing this part on a PC? You can copy the save file and use the same one on the desktop. Check if you get a crash there as well.

It's not seen as a good feature in adventure games. In RPGs, a bad outcome from a wrong dialog choice simply means that you have less stats/loot/have to fight another monster. Most dialogs are optional anyway since dialogs are usually just the means to getting more stuff. In adventure games, it usua...

I'm guessing it was compressed using FLAC, which the PSP doesn't support.

For this kind of issue, I recommend trying to make the speech work on the desktop version of ScummVM. The desktop version (be it Windows or Linux) can give you more feedback as to what's wrong, and you can post in the main ScummVM forum for help. Once you get that working, you can copy the exact sam...

Most likely the problem is that you're trying to run ScummVM using the 1.5 kernel, which is included within M-33. Try this: Instead of placing the scummvm folder inside PSP/GAME, put it in PSP/GAME3XX (use those exact letters ie. "GAME3XX"). This tells the firmware to run the application using the n...

Assuming you're using one of the recent versions (1.1.1 or 1.2.0svn) you need to bring up the keyboard, then press the left trigger to switch to number mode since the copy protection only accepts numbers.
