Well, i've successfully downgraded without any problems! :D Well... except one: whenever i try to play GTA: VCS now it won't let me unless i upgrade again. I don't suppose there's anyway around this?

I hate the idea of having to downgrade to play ScummVM and then upgrading to play PSP games.

Thanks for the reassurance. :) I'll make sure i use your guide just to be on the safe side. Oh, one more thing. The 1.50 update eboot you've linked to in your guide, would this work with my psp? I'm asking cuz i'm from the uk and according to download.qj.net, that you've linked to, it says north ame...

Thanks for the reply. :) Yeah, i read your post and yeah, i have access to just the one PSP. I've ordered a new copy of GTA: LCS from amazon.co.uk, but found out about the patched version being more common, at the last minute. I heard somewhere, on a forum i think, that if it says 2005, inste...

Downgrading FW 2.81

Hi I got GTA: Vice City Stories yesterday and ended up installing a new Firmware: 2.81 from my current 2.71. I've now found out that my current eLoader/ScummVM won't work. I've checked through some of the threads here but i'm not 100% clued up on what i should do. I get the feeling i'm gonna h...

Thanks for the reply. :) I don't actually have a save file, the game crashes right at the beginning before i get anywhere worth saving. Having skimmed through the threads here for BS2, no one seems to have encountered this problem so i could be the only one. :( Thanks for the offer; let me know what...

Anyone? It seems to crash and throw up an error message when i try to extinguish the fire in Oubier's house. It doesn't give me chance to note down the error because it switches the console off. What i do see of it is loads of letters and numbers constantly blinking and it mentions something about t...

Broken Sword 2 - Crashes

Hi I was just wondering if anyone here has encountered unexpected crashing in broken sword 2 on the psp? I use the data from the double pack release with re-encoded cutscenes (from here), music and speech (using lame) but the game keeps crashing. The first broken sword game has no problems, but this...

Re: The Feeble Files - Get Car.smk Problem

I'm not very familiar with the Windows command-line, but it might work to put quotation marks around the file name, eg 'C:\feeble\encode_dxa.exe "Get Car.smk"'
Ah, that's done it! Great, thanks a lot. :D

The Feeble Files - Get Car.smk Problem

Hi I own the 2 CD version of this game and I'm in the middle of converting all the .smk files. Everything's bin goin fine so far, I've followed the instructions step-by-step, i've used the RAD Gaming Tools to change the .smk files to PGN and .WAV and i've extracted most of them using the 'lame' extr...

Hi everyone, this is my first post here and i'd just like to say to the ScummVM Team that you guys rock! 8) Seriously, ScummVM is an incredible tool, it's just great to be able to play these old classic adventure games on modern computers and on loads of different consoles. I'm really happy with thi...
