Edit: It took a few seconds to sink in... I actually tested it with the trunk... Bummer... I just grabbed the latest SVN build from the download page and went ahead with testing... I browsed around the buildbot web interface but couldn't find a way to download the latest build of the branch... So: Z...

100 Games fully playable with ScummVM!

I just checked the compatibility DB and realized that there were 100 games listed with 75+% completed, not counting fan made AGI games. Some of them are still lacking music, but they seem (I didn't checke them individually) that they don't have any gameplay related issues. It's anice milestone to an...

Shouldn't Indy3 be considerede a multi-path game?

From Brunwald to Iskenderun, there are some mutually exclusive ways of solving puzzles (the guards in the castle, going to Berlin, using the Zepplin vs Stealing the plane at the airport...).

seubz, you may want to contact the EFF to be sure about the legality of your project.

IIRC, when the LEC lawyers first discovered ScummVM, they were especially worried about the possibility of an open SCUMM SDK.

April fools?
I don't think so. hal-kun is the main (only?) author of the Gears project (not QGears), which documents the FF7 internals.

Since TinyGL seems problematic, have you already thought of porting Residual to OpenGL ES?

Most mobile platform powerful enough to run GF support it by now, and there is an ES -> OpenGL wrapper for desktops (Win XP, OS X and Linux: http://sourceforge.net/projects/dgles ).

It's not really a problem of official or not official, but a problem of finding people motivated to work on it.

Kal Hun may bring some new blood to the project :-)

Furthermore, I don't think that QGears fits in ScummVM from a technical point of view. They will not reimplement the original engine, they are creating a new one inspired bit it instead. Most resource will be statically converted to modern formats (e.g. 3D models to the OGRE3D format), and the scrip...

There is also ScummC. It's probably less user friendly than AGS, but the game generated should run on any port of ScummVM.

Indy 3 had many variations for the part in Germany : there were multiple ways to fool guards in Brunwald and on the road after the Zepplin, you could optionally go to Berlin...

No idea either. The TFMX guy (Marwan) has been silent for a while too.

How do you think these "ROM" images are created? ROM cartridge dumpers can be purchased online, but selling and using them is illegal in a lot of countries AFAIK (although I don't know how the gaming companies managed to lobby governments to bypass the laws protecting fair use for personal...

The OS X version should support every game listed on the compatibility page. http://www.scummvm.org/compatibility.php?version=0.11.1 or http://www.scummvm.org/compatibility.php for the current CVS. If you notice any discrepancies, please report them in the bug tracker . A release cycle for version 0...
