Hey again, do you know if anyone's made an SJIS.FNT file yet or can compile the tool for Windows? :)

Sorry to mention this again, but..... if anyone ever comes across a CD/FTP/site/whatever containing a PLAYFATE archive with data files that match what's in this post , then do let me know. I'd appreciate finally seeing an original archive of this forgotten revision of the demo again. :) For history'...

Maniac Mansion NES not fullscreen?

Do you know if there's any way I can stretch the screen to take up the whole of the iPhone's resolution in the NES version of Maniac Mansion when playing in landscape mode? The huge black borders on both sides of the screen seem quite jarring to me. :\

Thanks!

Does the iPhone port output an error log somewhere?

I just think an error log of sorts, be it onscreen or in a text file, would come in handy for trying to work out why all versions of Inherit The Earth I try on the latest stable version (v1.3.0b) quit out to the Home screen only four or so seconds in. (Curiously, the official iPhone port of the game...

How does one use the daily snapshots of the DS port?

Lately I've noticed that the daily builds for the DS version adopt the same plugins idea as most of the other ports, which probably explains why a v1.3.0 release of it isn't out yet, amirite? ;) However, when I attempt to run one of these on my DS Lite (using a TTDS and YSMenu), the frontend works b...

Kyrandia PC98 games

Recently picked these up and thought I'd give them a whirl. :) According to ScummVM it's expecting an "SJIS.FNT" file to exist for Kyrandia 1 but I'm not too sure how to come about one. Looking around it seems a tool exists to create one out of a specific Japanese TrueType font or two but no Windows...

ScummVM can't find it Maybe it's the same problem I had on my iphone...There I had to change the permissions on certain games to run them on the iphone... If it's this problem...How do I do that??? Proper details of the INI specification for the DC port?

Having only just recently discovered that the INI suggestion from a while back actually got implemented as of v1.2.0 (though curiously the official changelog failed to mention this at all), I'm proceeding to try some new CDs out. I'm assuming that the INI specification is similar to that used by all...

Well, didn't have to worry too much about installing stuff after all - the E-Pad already has a Package Installer installed so it was a case of selecting the apk in the file manager. (Of course I had to learn myself that the thing uses MicroSD cards since the pigeon-english-instructions-with-screensh...

How to create a ScummVM LiveCD/BootCD/USBBoot?

Although I am an XP user, I fondly remember experimenting with the ScummLinux project from several years ago. Sadly it's outdated as heck and obviously isn't maintained anymore. I was wondering, though, how easy or difficult it would be to create a similar/identical thing but with a more up-to-date ...

Idiot's guide to installing ScummVM on an Android device?

Hello, just recently got my hands on an iPad clone known as an "E-Pad". From booting it up, I learnt it runs on Android, and it occurred to me that an Android port exists on here, but I have no clue as to how things are usually installed onto an Android. Is it as simple as putting one of those .apk ...

Well, I'm not sure how financially well you are atm, but there's currently an auction for a Turbografx Loom on eBay where you can get it for around roughly £20. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LOOM-TURBOGRAFX-16-CD-TURBO-GRAFX-/160464306855?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item255c6b02a7 Ends in 7 hours though, so h...

Hmmmmm, you say in the blog that 16-bit graphics support was added, yet my testing of Loom TG16 on it seems to suggest otherwise.

I followed the instructions also and used ucon64, and applied the same simple command it suggested without any additional switches. When I couldn't get my built roms running, I also tried the older prebuilt V64 roms from 64scener.com , with the same results. Also, an update on the mupen64 situations...
