The prototype has very limited coverage of voice recording, and being a proof-of-concept is not performed by professional voice actors.

Do you have idea as to the meaning of the @-signs that occur with some strings? For example, there are certain name-of-object strings that contain these @-signs and I tried experimenting what would happen if I edited that a little, but it seemed to make little difference with the version of ScummVM...

I also would love to have a feature like this.
I play adventure games with my non-English speaking kids. I have to translate it for the on-the-fly, and if the text would always pause it would be much easier.

It could be relatively easy to export all the EGA resources, save them as VGA, and use them to replace the resources in the VGA version.
