Deleting c:\private folder?

Hello, I'm new to the SymbianOS Port from SycummVM, since I've got my N73 yesterday. The V3 port works nice so far on my device. I saw, that the standard save path is somwhere in c:\private. I searched this forum and the Internet, it seems, that it is not easy to access this folder (impossible?). My...

Hello, @SchodMC: It does work. On my Axim X50 it seems, that storing the registry values takes some time, maybe due to some kind of caching. Switching off the Device forces the values to be written. Perform it like this: - Execute the "FixTimer.exe" - Switch off your Device - Switch on your Device -...

Hallo, you are not the only one having this problem, its a known issue for a long time, search the forum. But you are the only one refusing to start ScummVM in portrait. You can play the games in landscape, as you mentioned, using a 2x scaler. You just have to start ScummVM, when the PDA is in portr...

Hallo,

Map a key for the "Hide" or the "Keyboard" feature, press this key if the "Coppy Protection Screen" is shown in order to make the integrated PocketScumm keyboard visible and enter a code. And enjoy.

kind regards

Hello, first short feedback (unfortunately I have only short time, I have to go swimming ...) First of all no new bugs appeared for me (Dell Axim X50v, WM5). But some are gone: - BS1 starts again - The DOTT Bug (Using envelope with stamp caused crash) is gone. One is left: - BS2 reports the "Cannot ...

Hello,

@QuetoPaq. Which Keyboard are you talking about? The ScummVM Keyboard or the WinCE Keyboard?

In case you are talking about the WinCE Keyboard: Start ScummVM on the "Today Screen" (e.g. from the Start menu), this solves the issue.

kind regards

Hello,

at least for me it works, when I switch to the "2x" or "AdvMame2x" scaler. The Screen is automatically shown in Landscape in this case.

Hello, maybe you are using different settings, e.g. different sound settings? At least for me there is no noticeable difference for Monkey Island 2 between the versions, I am using a Dell Axim X50v. And the Simon games are "feeling" much faster with 0.9.0 than with the previous versions. kind regard...

Hello,

@jaspov: In Simon you have to use the Postcard in order to bring up this Menu. This is already a very long time so in ScummVM (0.7 or even 0.6 I think).

Hallo,

no, you understood this definitely wrong. Full Screen is working nice on my Dell Axim X50v. For the 320x200 Games you can use the 2x and even the AdvMame2x scaler. VGA Games are shown in native resolution. Both of cause in landscape mode.

kind regards

Hello, all the OGG related bugs are solved. At least for me the Monkey Island CD Version or Zak MacKracken FMTOWNS are running nice with this version. Also the high_sample_rate bug for Simon the Sorcerer has gone. As I said i'm using the games with Ogg compressed Audio on my Dell Axim X50v (with WM5...

Hello, in the newer versions there is a button for the "keyboard mapping dialog", in the button bar, where also the Screen Rotate or the Menu Button is placed. It looks like a "Q"-key. Hello, I found out the following: The "high_sample_rate=true" Setting causes Simon 1 & 2 (both Windows / Full Speech) to crash. I will file also a Bug Report. Without High_sample_rate they are running nice (but it sounds awful). Of cause im Using my Axim X50v with WM5. Simon1: ----------------------...
