Re: Games are sorted in GUI ignoring the articles

You are welcome to create an improvement ticket with the idea on https://bugs.scummvm.org/. Posts in the forum are likely to be missed by many developers, and forgotten quickly by those who do see it.

Re: Indiana jones last crusade

In case you have not seen it there are some information on our wiki regarding controls. Otherwise since your question seems to be specific to the Android port, you may have more luck posting it in the Android port forum. As for the second question, I don't know for sure, but I don't think there is a...

Re: Broken Discord link to Google Season of Docs 2020

I am not sure we want to do that as we had issues in the past with spam.
But you can try one of the other contact methods listed on our contact page (e.g. contact us on IRC, or using our mailing list).

Re: 15khz output

I don't know if this is what you want, but there is a config parameter for the audio output sampling rate in scummvm. See our User Manual. However as noted there, trying to use something that is not a multiple of 11025 Hz may not work as expected.

Re: 2.1.2 Mac OS - mouse pointer lagging

With 2.1.2 the mouse cursor laggs in all games. Mac OS 10.13.6 MacBook Pro Mid 2012 I have a mid-2012 MacBook Pro as well (with a 15'' non retina screen), on macOS 10.15, and I don't see any lag. Can you indicate which graphics settings you are using, and which games you tried (or at least some of ...

Re: Outside help with with SCUMMVM? How to start?

There are some instructions for developer on our wiki: https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Developer_Central I need help getting started. What apps are used for this? What programs? An app used for what? Working on the ScummVM source code? Each developer will have his own preference, and that a...

The "latest development build" on the page you linked to is the "2.2.0git" version mentioned by Praetorian.

Re: Feeble Files (4 CD Windows version)

There was a bug introduced between version 2.1.0 and 2.1.1 that caused a crash when adding some games to ScummVM: https://bugs.scummvm.org/ticket/11433. The bug is present in versions 2.1.1 and 2.1.2. This looks like the bug you initially reported, but this bug has already been fixed though. And it ...

Re: Newbie: ScummVM on iPad without Jailbreak?

Yes, I think the compilation instructions on the wiki should have everything you need, although it may lack some details for some of the steps. When you rebuild ScummVM, the one on your iPad will be updated and keep all the games and save states you have. Those are only lost if you remove the ScummV...

Re: Newbie: ScummVM on iPad without Jailbreak?

1. I don't know for sure as I am not familiar with iPadOS but I think it should work. 2. Yes, that is correct (unless you have a paid Apple Developer account). 3. If you are recompiling the same version (and not updating to the latest source code) it s very easy and fast. You just have to connect yo...

Re: Aspect Ratio Correction on FM Towns Games

The known issue on Mac with blurry is specific to macs with a retina screen that run on macOS 10.14 or above (Mojave or Catalina). It is not related to changes in ScummVM itself, but is related to the way ScummVM is built. Apple made changes related to OpenGL and Retina display in macOS 10.14 which ...

Re: Any update on shaders?

There was a start at implementing support for libretto shaders by a former ScummVM developer. It can be found at https://github.com/lordhoto/scummvm/tree/libretro-shader This was not finished and is probably outdated by now with all the changes we made in ScummVM, but this could maybe provide a star...
