it doesnt seem to want to scroll left. Going to the right seems to work okay. Any ideas or comments? As I recall, the scrolling on gob3 is... interesting. Going right is fine, but to scroll left the cursor has to be on the very left-most pixel (which makes it a bitch with a touchscreen, not tried i...

I've added this, but just to double check: is that the English DOS version?

it's still an alternative way to play the games, whether it's on an emulator or with an interpreter.

and for the record, scummvm doesn't *need* to do anything.

Are you talking about the mine road fights? There's a "cheat" to get past those, v useful on WinCE. Just assign a button to "multi-function", and press it when you're in a fight.

I was under the impression that you need a windows license in order to use VMWare?

Re: The 7th Guest with Roland MIDI

I finally had to use the task manager to close the game. I didn't know if this was something you were already aware of or not but I thought I'd post it here. I'm going to try some other methods of getting Windows MIDI to work on my system. There are issues with MT-32 sounds at the moment, it's not ...

If it works, it's probably right. I've not come across a version with wav files on CD1, but there are certainly some versions which have no audio tracks.

2.2GB download for Feeble Files... that must be the 4CD version, right? That is certainly worth knowing, as they only have the 2cd version on their web store.

I'm pretty certain the audio data on the second CD is just a bonus, for two reasons. Both of which are incorrect. I disassembled the game to get it working in ScummVM, so I'm sure of this. "Skeletons in my closet" IS played over the credits. In order to quadruple check, I just replayed the ending i...

I'm just trying my copy of T7G on my Sony Ericsson M600. Can't say it reallly can cope with that 640x480 video(audio is stuttering somewhat, and framerate varies alot depending on the scene), but I think it should be playable. Looks nice even in 320x240. :-) That is good news! There is probably qui...

... until you get to the attic (the last puzzle). Then it gets you to swap discs, and, as clem foretold, the audio track from cd2 gets played over the credits. so it is a problem ;-)

One thing I forgot to post here, is that it's now been committed to the main ScummVM repository, so if you download a daily build of ScummVM (after last night), you should be able to play T7G with it. But it's not fully supported yet, so no bug reports till we're ready ;-)
