Hello all,
since the buildbot is now producing Switch builds, can one of the administrators create a subforum for it? The Vita and other platforms already have their own subforum.

Re: Port of ScummVM to the Nintendo Switch
The latest executable version of ScummVM for Switch is one that I compiled from git source plus Switch port PR here: https://github.com/rsn8887/scummvm/releases Of course, once the Switch port code is merged, the buildbot can be setup to automatically build Switch versions. Then, the manual builds l...

Re: General MIDI SoundFont support
There is no port of the fluidsynth library for the Vita. I don't think anybody is working on it either, since it has a lot of dependencies AFAIK.

Re: MT-32 emulation
I tested this a while back. The Vita is just not fast enough for MT-32 emulation. The sound is extremely choppy and the games run very slow when MT-32 is enabled. That’s why I disabled it.
The Nintendo Switch can run MT-32 Emulation just fine.

I made a few tests on Vita, using latest ScummVM github code. It is perfectly fine for now to just disable lastexpress and keep all other unstable engines. Lastexpress is one of the largest unstable engines. Disabling it prevents the crash on startup that was reported here. Note another large unstab...

[Enhancement] Support "1st person RPG control mode"
The PSP port has this ingenious "1st person RPG control mode", detailed here: http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/PlayStation_Portable It is an alternate mapping for EOTB and similar games (works great for Xeen, too). It allows strafing with L/R and turning with the dpad. Since we have globa...

Please try a clean install: Please rename or delete scumm folder, and install a completely fresh folder with all content from 2.0.0 release zip. Also, please rename or delete scummvm.ini from the root folder of your memory stick. Also you might try the latest improved development version here: https...

A fix for this has now been merged into the official ScummVM code. Thanks to all those involved! Sadly, current development buildbot builds crash when loading any game due to some other, non-related issue. This will be not be fixed until a new Docker-based buildbot is implemented. In the meantime, y...

The case against aspect correction of Monkey Island
I remember that Monkey Island had a big black bar at the bottom when I played it back in the day on the Amiga, e.g. it did not run in 4:3, but in some aspect ratio closer to 16/10. To check if Monkey Island 1 should be played with aspect correction, I took two screenshots of it running in ScummVM. T...
