That should be fixed now.

800x480?

That would require a downscale atleast. Out of curiosity, what equipment do you want to try on?

The Z-order bug was fixed, same with the detection-issue.

I would also love to hear how slow a computer these games can run decently on at this point, so if possible, post the specs of the computer you played on here, and note if it was slow at any point.

misterhands: Detection should be fixed now (or atleast in the next nightly), I don't know what happened there, the download I had lying around had a tad different md5, as well as ALEAWB__.TTF included, I'll have a look to see if I got that copy somewhere else, or if the game has been updated at some...

WME Testing: Chivalry is not dead.

As I've been a bit busy the past few months, the Wintermute-engine port for ScummVM hasn't seen as much progress as I would have liked, but I still think it's time to get the ball rolling a bit again: One of the games I tested against this summer was Chivalry is not dead . So far I haven't had any i...

The engine will NEVER be merged into ScummVM, just like the Grim-engine never will. The reason for this is, once again, as Strangerke said, that they both are 3D (or atleast 2.5D), while ScummVM targets 2D Adventure games. ResidualVM would be where to go for these questions (forums.residualvm.org). ...

You can't go and deem something to be freeware, then sell the rights to it. By deeming it freeware, you gave up the rights to it in the first place. Eh, what? Of course you can do that, and of course you don't give up any rights doing that. Why? Because you OWN those rights to begin with, and you a...

Well, like Kickstarter, if you don't meet your goal, no money is given to you at all. (The idea being that the goal should be the bare minimum to complete the project, thus it wouldn't make sense to give out any money if it won't be enough to pay for the project)

Whoah, whoah, whoah, nobody said anything about "full time", GSoC is over, so I can't commit a full weeks work into either project anymore anyhow. As for ResidualVM, I haven't been putting in much effort there in the past few months, but things are getting interesting over there again now (Botje has...

Tony and WME were merged, pegasus is still in Limbo. To explain the mail-bit, the engine-inclusion-guidelines say: There is a delay of at least one week between your initial pull request and -devel mail and the merge. In that time we will give all ScummVM members the chance to check your engine and ...

I got a bit bored yesterday, while looking into some rendering errors, so... Well, you can keep your videos: http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~somaen/images/forumposts/ScummVMJulia1.png That's the intro video from the J.U.L.I.A.-demo playing inside ScummVM, Theora-support is now working, atleast for FMVs, I h...

Hi I'm the guy doing the wintermute-port for ScummVM as GSoC this summer. So, if you really get Video Playback running on WME Lite, I would absolutely port the game to WME Lite. ( e.g. 1024x768 resolution, and dropping some music effects due to the wme amuse plugin). Given the current progress, I'm ...

NB! My way of reviewing stuff is by assuming it's A+, and then deduct points, so this will mostly be a list of things that could have been better. Just so you know that I ain't being derisive. First of all, the choice of using Zak256 is odd, since it gives the impression that Indy was a move backwar...

I read it was primarily designed for grim fandango, so it's pointless trying to runanything else. But can I atleast play it on symbian? It is designed for Grim, yes, however there is some overlap in the engine between Grim and MI4, they both use LUA, and their file formats are similar. HOWEVER, fro...
