That's the point, however, two caveats: 1: The way your game works in Wintermute, is the way it's meant to work, if it does something different in ScummVM, then that's wrong, so don't rely on ScummVM during development. The reference platform is, and will continue to be, the original WME-engine. 2: ...

WME Testing-thread

So, the Wintermute-engine has seen another year of development in ScummVM, and now it's time to for me to ask for a little bit of help again: A few games are known to work, but could do with some thorough testing, which is why I need someone to test the following games thoroughly, and report back he...

What do you need keyboard emulation for in COMI? As far as I remember, every action there is accessed from the coin-interface with the mouse.

The Monkey Island 1 demo does indeed have sound, but it's been a while since I tried it, so I have no idea if it behaves like this originally: Pressing ESC on the pre-dialogue gets you into the game, but the music just plays sequentially. Walking on the plank to get the seagull to move, sticks in a ...

Looks awesome.

I'm a bit worried about the amount of asset reuse from DOTT though, I heard both sound-samples, and saw complete pieces of DOTT-gameart in there.

Are those games verified to be using WME? (The Deirdra-ones?) I`m mostly interested in knowing what works and what doesn`t right now, as exhaustively testing the WME-games-page takes quite a bit of time. And so any help is much appreciated. EDIT: But also, I'm interested in information on games NOT ...

WME: Gathering information on games.

I just took some time to update the wiki about which games that use WME: http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Wintermute/Games If anyone wants to help out, I'd love to get some more information on the games, especially the untested category. Particularly: * What versions of them exist? * Do they detect...

Oh, they're probably able to wipe out the common cold on a worldwide basis, if given the chance.

Well, the high CPU-usage is expected, the engine is capped to 60 fps (an arbitrarily chosen number really), and normally it will just take all draws and only draw the ones that were different from the previous frames. The problem with the menus are that those are composed of a HUGE amount of draw-op...

I just fixed the slowdown in the Savegame-menus (hopefully), it's not the best fix, as there is still plenty of room for improvement, but atleast you should see fps's in the double-digits again.

I really hope they will just sell IPs they don't need anymore. Disney? Selling IP? They're more known for vaulting their IPs a half generation at a time. On the upside, they sometime tend towards re-releases of atleast their movies. (Lion King 3D for instance). Sadly I think the monetization possib...

Isn't this basically a variation of the age-old BSD-license with crediting-problem? (i.e. whether stuff licensed in a way that requires accreditation is truly FLOSS).

4) after saving the game, the menu quickly appears and disappears again. Fixed, although not in the best way, I now simply skip drawing the first frame after saving/loading. (The issues is also present in WME Lite, but not in WME). 5) when you change the volume in the in-game menu, the current valu...
