It's probably not broken. Some games intentionally won't allow you to change aspect ratios because it can mess up the graphics. For example, the Windows CD version of KQ6 won't allow you to change resolutions either because it will mess up the high res character graphics So the ability to change res...

You might have your graphics mode or render mode set to something your computer doesn't like. Make sure you're just using default settings and no scaling. If that doesn't work, what non default settings are you using for graphics & sound options? Are you sure you have all the required files needed f...

Nice. I just setup the trial version and got it working. Works really well, but I don't have a lot of games that used general MIDI. So, for me, it's hard to rationalize spending $120.00 for the official version. Most of my old games used the MT-32

You can get the Kings Quest Collection that comes with Mystery House on ebay for $4.99 (I own the collection). It also comes with the Laura Bow Game.

And I'm not subscribed to his newsletter

This is SPAM. I got a spam email from this guy last week. How he got my email address I have no idea because I certainly don't give it out. In the email he sent me, it said... "There is a group dedicated to seeing that Sierra's older games are available at a reasonable price. Today, if you want to p...

MT-32 Emulator crashing dev build

Hello,

I noticed the recent dev build crashes when trying to play a game using the mt-32 emulation. This doesn't happen on the regular stable release

They're gonna need more info. What games are you trying to run? Give more specific specs about your computer. I'm running Win 10 64 bit with an Nvidia card and I have no such problems

Exactly. The other benefits is that it doesn't suddenly change the volume like the MT-32 did. I'd turn the volume down, then it'd jump back up to 100. And you don't have to keep resetting the emulator after every game because the sounds would get messed up. And, of course, it takes up less space on ...

I bought my MT-32 back in 1988 or 1989. I had an IBM PS/2 that used it's own proprietary hardware, so setting it up wasn't all that easy. I still own it today & it still works great. But I've been using the Munt emulation for a while now & actually prefer it over the real MT-32
