I tried LB2 with the latest revision of ScummVM, using the MT-32 emulator. Running a desktop with dual core 2.6 and 4GB RAM. Played just fine for me. Didn't experience any stuttering. Might have something to do with the limitations of your laptop. Thus why the Adlib didn't give you any problems.

MusicallyInspired, to use the Win cursors for KQ6, you gotta add the line "windows_cursors=true" to the .ini file

Why would anyone want to wade through all of that extra information when all they want to see is what games are supported. Exactly. Most people would get frustrated having a bunch of extra junk to look through. If you care enough to find the extra info, it's not that hard to look up. Even for newbi...

There's a problem with the DOS CD version of KQ5 with the latest 54480 revision of ScummVM. When I launch the game, it initializes the MT-32, then I get the hourglass. Then the game crashes with a message stating the program has stopped working. This also happens when trying to use the MT-32 emulato...

Gotcha. Finally got it to work :) I actually had to choose the GM from the audio drop list, then put a check next to Overide Global MT-32 Settings under the MT-32 tab

It seems that there is now 2 options for the Win version of KQ5. The DOS CD version and the WIN CD version. I can play the MIDI music through the DOS CD one and it sounds great. But I can't seem to get any MIDI sounds at all through the WIN CD one.

EDIT: I'm using revision 54469

CD or floppy version of KQ5? EDIT: I just tried the CD version (only version I have on hand at the moment). I'm getting way over the top reverb, it sounds as if it's playing in a cathedral. Is that what you're hearing? It's the CD version. And yes, that's exactly what I'm hearing. Edit: I just trie...

I'll file a bug report on it, but wanted to post that KQ5's music through the MT-32 doesn't sound right. The tones are all off.

I'm using daily build 1.3 svn54236 and the function keys work fine for me. However, the + & - keys to increase or decrease speed don't work. Using Win7 Ultimate 32 bit

Yeah, it's gotta be a 64bit version issue. I have 32 bit Win7 Ultimate and have the fluidsynth option. Used it and it works fine with a soundfont I downloaded.

I bought an MT-32 back when KQ4 came out in 1988. I was 15 (really showing my age!). So for a kid barely working back then, saving up $530.00 took a long time. When I finally got it connected to the IBM PS/2 (which was a chore in itself since it used different hardware from other standard PC's), I c...

So, you think that after posting hundreds of screenshots on ScummVM's homepage, and using avatars, and openly supporting the playing of the games through your program, that if you had screen captures in the program itself, they'd suddenly decide to sue you for copyright infringement? I'm sorry, not ...
