Scummvm on Facebook

With Facebook being one of biggest social networking sites these days I was surprised to see no Group for it on it. Would there be any such interest?

What adventure games are you currently playing?

I'm not sure if this topic has been done before within the last year or so but I searched and couldn't find anything like it and I apologize if this is not the right forum to ask in. Just the ones you're playing actively(as in not ones you've installed but never played or haven't played in awhile bu...

Getting So Blonde was a waste of time as I found the first person interface sucked(wasn't merely that it was first person but more the way it was setup) and the dialog was little better. However I did only play a bit of it but couldn't stand much more.

Uhm... rock_chick wrote "the Monkey Island games aren't really my thing"... S:) I suppose that statement is so unbelievable that people just parse it out. That's about the only time someone's refer to something I've said as unbelievable, usually I just bore them senseless! I found this link h...

Thanks for the ideas! I have until recently forgotten about the Tex Murphy games, I have DOSBox so that's not an issue. Will need to look into some of those games I don't know about, the Monkey Island games aren't really my thing and I have played most of Leisure Suit Larry games(should have mention...

Looking for adventure games with a good dose of humor

I especially enjoy adventure games that have a good amount of humor in them as long as they aren't too silly and are not designed for kids and/or teenagers. However it's harder these days to find ones like this, especially as the non indie adventure game industry is not what it once was. In the vein...

Update After playing through the game a second time I found no other cutscene problems and to my surprise the well cutscene actually worked. Therefore it seems basically it works quite well. Not really an issue anymore, unless you count the intro issue and that's not a big deal in general really.

Actually some cutscenes do seem to work but no all. I have the DVD release of BS1 and 2 so it's a different setup from the original 2 cd release of the first game. Because the version needs to be installed first(as it needs most of the files decompressed first via the installer I suppose) the files ...

Cutscenes not working for Broken Sword 1

I've read many similar posts about this and downloaded the add-on for the dxa cutscenes but they don't work. Instead a message saying the said cutscene couldn't be found. I'm using the version that had mp2 cutscenes rather than smack ones, I know it has a built in older version of Scummvm to play it...
