Reverse engineering it is painful i guess? The google code page seemed like it was reimplementing the whole game, no script interpreter right?

I can always do the thing i was trying to avoid: duplicate the data files, as both cd images and files. This would have the advantage the game would run on other OS too (not being dependent on the dosbox imgtool feature of mounting dirs). I even searched for a way in linux of having symlinks pointin...

We have almost the same problem did you fix it already on how to install the full version of broken sword. Because I like a games related to any kind of sword especially fantasy sword . :P The original intention was having a full install that worked on both a pc, dosbox, windows or scummvm. However...

You should be able to simlink to a file inside an iso if you mount it first. mount -o loop disk1.iso /mnt/disk When mounted, the iso becomes part of the directory tree and should be ready to be simlinked anyway you want. All of this will end up giving you a big, incomprehensible and hard-to-backup ...
