'lo and behold, they game does work. I didn't figure it would need "hopkins.exe" to detect. Very weird. When I copied it over with the .EXE file it detected alright. The game says v4.0 briefly at the start. Does that say anything? It is uncensored alright. :-) On a side note, am I blind, or is the d...

I have the UK version of Hopkins FBI. For this version, there is a "gore" patch to enable all the censored violence. Is this patch somehow intregrated in the ScummVM build or will it need to be added somehow? I could be wrong, but as far as I know the only difference between the censored and uncens...

Was there any way to get the "Hopkins4"-version to detect? My ScummVM build will not recognize it. I'm fairly sure it's the UK version as it is censored and all. If you're running under Windows, you need to provide the MD5 details from the console window for us to add it in. MD5 from what? I mean t...

Re: Monkey Island 1 "perfect" CD audo sync?

I remember editing the intro song silence with mixed results some years ago. I had to add the silence that I removed from the start to the intermission between the two songs to make the lookout song come on at the right time... maybe I remeber it wrong, maybe it was just the intro song that was cumb...

Monkey Island 1 EGA version on CD?

Was there ever any shovelware release on CD that included MI1 EGA?

Monkey Island 1 "perfect" CD audo sync?

This is not another "no sound" in MI1 thread. I know how to rip audio tracks. No, my point is this; if you play the floppy enhanced version and then the CD version you will notice that due to CD ripping techniques, the audio in the CD version will not be synched the same way as the floppy version. T...

I'm running Win 7 x64 and a GTX 670.

I got it working by using "Aspect Ratio" and GPU scaling in the nvidia control panel.

In ScummVM I used conserve, aspect ratio correction and full screen. Now I get fullscreen pillar boxed. Perfect. Thanks evbod.

It does work, but only if I run ScummVM in a window, not fullscreen. Is that not supported?

I've found the OpenGL-settings, but they don't seem to do anything? What settings am I supposed to use?

Stretch but keep aspect ratio?

As the topic says, is there any way to stretch but keep aspect ratio?

I'm running ScummVM on a HTPC on my 1080p LCD-TV and either I get a stretched fullscreen, or the original resolution that's very small.

I hadn't thought about that.

I could even create a profile that responds only to specific programs and games.

Now I already gotten used to no acceleration, so it's all good.

Ahhh... right. My bad.

I actually found out the real issue thou, since I had the same problem in DOSBox.

It's mouse acceleration. I like to have it enabled, but both DOSBox and ScummVM dislikes it.

I'll just have to learn to not have it enabled.
