been playing KQ6 win with the new svn and things seems to be fine. There is something, however, that i may be miss-remembering, but i think that originally, if you've spoken with rotten tomato and the book worm's friend in the inventory, you should see their lips move and not just hear them.

on another note, the windows version supposed to have different type of cursors (all white) ... win ver has the same cursors as the dos version. whoa, tried to test KQ6 windows version i got major graphic glitches, the verb bar is too large for its borders and as such inaccessible (inventory isn't accessible either, thus making the game impossible to play). also, borders for talking faces are too big. see pics: http://img828.imageshack.us/ga...

so i've finally played the game with the new svn and you're right about the music. i donno, for me it sounds like the it's re-sampling the old 22000hz files to a higher sample rate on the fly. that's usually how a low frequency files converted to 44100hz or 48000hz sound to me.

VGA version of MI1 has CD audio, to get it working you have to rip the audio tracks and covert them into mp3/ogg/flac files. should be explained in the FAQ on the main site.

as for the size of CMI, I know that pressing CTRL + 4 or 6 makes it fit the screen. something like that.

I liked the easy mode because it's hilarious how easy it is (wanna buy the map piece from the shop? don't go and get a library card so you can get a drink so you can win the spitting contest so you can get a boat so you can get the monkey head - just buy it for 100 pieces of eight!)

Return to zork had a demeanor buttons while someone is talking to you. angry, interested,friendly, etc'. It affected some things, but mostly it would cause you to lose the game if you do it wrong.

haven't played it, but from the trailer, it doesn't even look like any sort of adventure. seems more like a stealth\action thing.
