I have proper sound on my note n7000. Used 1.4.0 and now the RC for 1.5.0. No sound problems, at least with Dreamweb and Simon.

O.k. found a solution:

The SDL commit archives are still online:
http://lists.libsdl.org/pipermail/commits-libsdl.org/

So i took the date from the r4600 and did an:

hg update --date

Now cerials patches apply without error.

Thanks

Compiling for WinCE

Hi, I managed to build mingw32ce, tremolo, mad, libmpeg2 and zlib but unfortunately I have some problems building SDL. Cerials nice howto from 2009 refers (and provides a build patch) to SDL Version 1.2.13-r4600 but that was before they switched away from subversion to mercurial. The patch does not ...

Hi, I tried a build from the github svn checkout but unfortunately the compiler changed since my last build (now mingw32ce). I tried cerials how-to from 2009 but had some problems building mingw32ce on my Ubuntu 12. Unfortunately I found no recent build how-to. So I think I've to start from a clean ...

Hi xoen, same prob here on my iPAQ 214. I have 80MB free RAM and the single exe version is not loading. I tried to activate debug mode to get a stderr and stdout file but with no success. Unfortunately I can not build the current trunk any more since the switch away from subversion because I haven't...

Hi, what do you expect should ScummVM do to support the Omnia screen resolution? If you have, for example, a game with a native 320x240 resolution you have to scale the 320 up to 400. That's a ratio of 1.25 which will lead to a lost of the aspect ratio (and will not look very well). Currently that's...

Hmm, I tried both, MP3 and OGG with the current 1.1.0 and had no problem. Sound is playing well. I used an iPAQ hx2750 (2003se, qvga).

I'm compiling with CYGWIN and cegcc as described in the wiki:

http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Compi ... Windows_CE

The result works fine with Windows Mobile 5.

Could you describe your problem more in detail?

I would if I had the knowledge...
I'll compile you a single binary of the current SVN if you want. Just drop me a PM.

Re: Non-split build again?

To be honest, I am just lazy to split my config Hmm, o.k. one of the (busy) developers should change the PPC build system to build an extra executeable, including all engines, because you are to lazy to work with 2 seperate directories? Excuse me, but you can't be serious! How about building the ex...

Which Version of ScummVM do you use?

Sorry for asking: Do you tried the right executable?
The current release is split into 2, each with different engines.

Both games run fine here.

Debug output for the WinCE port is enabled via the entry "debuglevel=1" in the [scummvm] section of scummvm.ini.
Now there should also a additional "scummvm_stderr.txt" file after closing ScummVM.

You may file a bug report with this logfile.

If you play your Version within DosBox, is it in English or French? I assume you Version is not a french, rather than an englisch one.
