No, I'm not. Wikipedia articles can be edited by absolutely anyone who comes to view them, unless they are protected, which is only for articles that have been experiencing a high amount of vandalism. I'm a registered Wikipedia contributor/editor, though. That just means I have an account. I might c...

At this point, Origin is pretty much the department of EA that maintains Ultima Online.

I'll have to remove that from the wikipedia article, then.

Heh, I wasn't really counting IF. I know about Questprobe, they advertised it like mad in 80s Marvel comics. There was a tie-in book too, I think.

Well, it seems that the programmers weren't experienced with CDs. I can understand this. I haven't played the floppy version yet. My father's friend has been adventuring since Zork, and he still has most of his stuff, so he probably has an original copy of Loom. Oh, and not to complicate things furt...

Tsunami Media did those games, but they closed. I assume the rights to video game versions of Known Space reverted right back to Larry Niven. I've played both of these games, actually. The first one is kind of... uninteractive. Much of the game is spent in story sequences. It's an alright plot about...

Hmm, I should probably locate the FM Towns version. Although isn't there a patch to update the original to VGA? Is it possible to play the CD version of Loom in ScummVM with the original text restored? I mean, the voice acting is pretty good, but not worth missing dialogue and close-ups.

Superhero adventures?

I'm a big fan of superheroes, which I think is evident, so naturally I've noticed somewhat of a... lack of the genre in adventure games. Of course, there's Superhero League of Hoboken, and more recently the Adventures of Fatman, but those are really parodies. Not that there's anything wrong with tha...

Loom CD Version "Controversy"

I was wondering, I've heard about people saying that the CD version actually isn't up to part with the original. I've even heard phrases like "incompetent programming" bandied about. I've never played the floppy version of Loom, just the CD, so... what exactly is this all about? Was someth...

No worries, im surprised that lucasarts never made speech packs for these games after all they made one for loom, which although its a fantastic game, It sold rather poorly, so much so that they cancelled the rest of the trilogy (Forge and The Fold) Apparently that is *not* the case, it's just that...

Rage of the Wookies. Hahahaha...ha.

I think that LucasArts might have something left to surprise us with. Then again, they may have gone the way of Origin under EA where it's a good thing they're not making anymore original games or continuations of their famous series.
