Both Lost Files games catch the atmosphere of the late 19th century in such a great manner that there is a high degree of immersion. I've never really thought that about Serrated Scalpel. It's atmosphere, I think, is mainly just vague impressions of late-Victorian Britain from a design team that di...

I have a PPC Mac and have run into a few bugs with Cruise. Three, all reported in the tracker, with two fixed so far. The first and most serious was simply a crash when just about any action was attempted. But I was told (via comments in the tracker) that that was found to happen with Intel Macs as ...

(doubtful since someone would have come forward before now). That's probably correct, but I still wouldn't rule it out. Keeping the source code would be a good idea for someone to have, but that someone would also realize that they were essentially stealing (the fact that the owner was throwing it ...

There seems to be a lipsync regression. I don't think it's me because I've recopied the game data just in case. That fixed some subtitle weirdness I was having, but Lipsync still isn't happening. Have to expect regressions, though. I suppose bug reporting will have to wait until after saving/loading...

Man - those concept art scans are awesome. Where do you get them from? They're not concept art. (I assume you're referring to the Monkey Island SE thread, and not the filtered image above.) They are the actual background artwork that was scanned (at low resolution) for MI2. A while back, when LEC h...

No, not ranting. MI2 really is the only game where the music track is done perfectly. Games made before and after MI2, the transitions are so abrupt they might as well have the sound of a turntable needle scraped across a record placed between tracks. And for any potential MI2:SE --- JUST RESCAN THE...
