I just noticed it seems that the part saying that everything should be either all upper-case or lower-case was removed with r28830. Here's the log for that commit http://scummvm.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/scummvm/scummvm/trunk/README?r1=28663&r2=28830 Actually it seems the information wasn't th...

Well, the naming as I said is the one that comes with my broken sword 2 cd, so when copying the files didn't work at first. I notice about the case issue and could fix the problem renaming to lower case. Thinking about it, if making FSNode to be able to handle in a case insensitive way folder names ...

Re: Broken Sword 2 default directories name

That's odd, I thought that ScummVM's file system is always case-insensitive. At least it is when it comes to files, but from what you say, it looks that it isn't for directories Yes, for regular files the case doesn't matter, only for directories. We actually used to have a description in the READM...

Broken Sword 2 default directories name

Could be added into "engines/sword2/sword2.cpp" line 268 + Common::File::addDefaultDirectory(_gameDataDir.getChild("Clusters")); + Common::File::addDefaultDirectory(_gameDataDir.getChild("Sword2")); + Common::File::addDefaultDirectory(_gameDataDir.getChild("Video&q...

Yes it's possible to load the low quality set of video by putting them in the VIDEO directory. The differences are 20 MiB less and the videos are scaled down, so doesn't fit the whole screen. I will left both SMACKSLO and SMACKSHI in my scummvm prepared games, the original cd is breaking and it can ...

If he/she's using the lastest 1.0.0-rc1 is better not to use the recoded videos and put the original smk ones instead. Perhaps and update to the Guide to make the Real Ultimate Broken Sword 2 Setup Guide :P xD

You should put all the files together, not cd1 and cd2 folders, the contents of both on the same folder.

Broken Sword 1 and 2 original scenes directory structure

Now that 1.0.0-rc1 supports the original cutscenes I have doubts. I have seen that scummvm loads the scenes from directory SMACKSHI or VIDEO. If the computer have less resources ScummVM try to load them from the SMACKSLO directory? If it's yes I suppose that the best is to have both SMACKSHI and LO ...

ScummVM version 0.11.1, in this case is not the music, is the description of the panties that Goerge says in a concrete part of the game. Don't know when i could try to test this with the game played natively, don't have win or msdos, but, i have to ask one thing. I have read in the scumm wiki that ...
