I have my old German boxed version I bought 20 years ago. Unfortunately, it isn't for sale. ;)

But here you can find some for roundabout 20€:

I was going over the required data files this morning and realized it asks for many files I don't have in my copy (CD re-release). For example, I do not have any of the following files: sample.* *.dig *.mdi *.vgs This leads me to believe I have a different version. For the record, this is after ins...

I got the Almanac Edition three days ago and I am really enjoying the game. Hottest candidate per the adventure game of the year so far.

Nobody anticipated this game? This is indeed very surprising because this might become one of the top adventure games of the year according to what I've seen so far.

Temporarily, it is the top 6 and top 9 title on GOG.

And the DVD seems to be a hybrid version for Windows, Linux, and Mac.

The reason much information isn't being posted is that I can't really go into detail on what's happening. But we know where the source code is, we are getting it.. it's just a matter of when. Sounds a bit like the discovery of lost Doctor Who episodes. ;) All we can do is wait, but waiting is some ...

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2

Now it is only 20 days to wait until the long awaited second part of the adventure with Wilbur, Ivo, Nate and the Critter will be released. How did you like the first part and the Critter Chronicles and how much did you anticipate the release of a second part? Did you maybe even back the enhancement...

Just being interested: is there any news on that? Lost Files on ScummVM would really be great news.

I would really appreciate the Lost Files being supported. Especially the Rose Tattoo is one of the best adventure games ever.

Well, is it that bad? Did you really expect LucasArts to launch a new graphic adventure? And even if they did, would you expect it to have the same high quality as Daedalic, 13 years after Escape from Monkey Island has been published? Be great if Disney used the assets to create a feature animated f...

If you are using recent games, I suggest you take a look at Tony Tough. It's about 10 years old, and is one of the 'recent' games we are supporting. Also, it requires a second full test for v1.6 I think, this list is about the "favourite 5 adventures" and not about the "top 5 of scum...

I think, we already had a similar discussion: http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=6810 And now for the list: 1. The Longest Journey 2. The Book of Unwritten Tales 3. Broken Sword 4. Discworld Noir 5. Grim Fandango Each of those games took me more than 15 hours to complete. @James: I noticed th...

I just finished the Critter Chronicles and have to say that this game doesn't stand much behind BoUT.

I bought and played "Lost Horizon". And I loved it. Animation Arts had some great Ideas for this Adventure (the Epic playable Final Battle). I know it sounds more like an Action-Adventure, but it is a real classic Adventure (even with handdrawn Backgrounds). The best Adventure in the Last...
