Thank you for the suggestion. I wanted to try the workaround, but this build doesn't create a folder in \Android\data directory. Is there another location to add or edit the ini file?

Thanks for all the info, the problem is fixed! I understood the problem right away, but was confused because I thought that the deletion of ScummVM folder would also delete any settings (I downloaded the portable version). Problem running ScummVM on Lenovo s10e netbook

I get a sdl error wich I can't read fully because of the closing console window.I'm guessing it's because the netbook has an unusual resolution (1024x576).
