Re: You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike

Could the detection entry for tcomremake be updated to "The Colour of Magic remake" as it's written in British English. Also does the graphic version of tcomremake need to be added to the unstable list of games like the rest of the version 6 z-code games, or is that not needed because it d...

Re: You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike

What files do I need anyway, is there are list? I have amiga versions, and zork trilogy works but I need to rename Story.data, to Story.dat for scummvm to recognize it. Currently, the ZCode engine supports the following extensions: .z<1 to 8> (though v6 games are considered unsupported right now), ...

Re: ScummVM settings dont affect game

Could this be causing issues with sound? sdl2.dll isn't a sound font, is it?
soundfont=G:\Program Files (x86)\ScummVM\SDL2.dll

Re: Problems loading Fate of Atlantis

Some games need to be installed to get the data files, so you'll probably need to use dosbox.

Re: Aspect ratio stretch pre-upscale or post-upscale?

The comments in those two source files seem to explain what the process is, it's in plain English.

I think the problem with running from a CD is the time it takes to access data from a CD drive which could cause stuttering in audio and video or freezing while accessing data. That isn't an issue if you are mounting a CD image from the hard drive.

Of course I could be wrong.

Great news, I've been hoping to play this game again! I have a 3 CD version of the game, and the readme.txt identifies the game as "Douglas Adams Starship Titanic v1.00.42b". I've downloaded the titanic.dat file and copied the Assets folder from all 3 CDs, but there is no file named newga...

The Blackwell series runs on AGS and there is an Android port but I don't have an Android device so I can't give you instructions on how to get it working.

I tried GIMP, and it does handle palettes a little differently from Photoshop -- but maybe not quite in the way we need. For a start, it reordered the palette and stripped out any duplicate colours. *sob* I'm not sure why it would reorder the palette but you can edit the palette however you need; a...
