The engine is built on top of love2d. which is now over 645k lines of code. And on top of that, it is an actively developed project, with 50+ commits just in this year. For us, it would be a moving target, thus, adding that codebase to ScummVM is quite unrealistic.

Normally, you may use scummvm.ini transparently between versions. The only major incompatible change was back in 2020, with 2.2.0 release when we added the engineid:gameid combination to the detection.

This is a WIP and not yet supported, unfortunately. We are gearing towards putting two directories, named `cd1` and `cd2` next to each other. Unfortunately, they cannot be merged because there are files with the same names but different content on both CDs.

I contacted Rafał back in Feb 2025, he never had sources. So, there must be a misunderstanding.He tried to reverse engineer the game, but did not get very far.

The AGS engine is pretty heavy in general. I keep adding checksums for GOBLiiNS6, it works out of the box.

I do not know what the difference from Gob5 is, but I assume that Pierre got much more experienced with the scripting language and made things more complex. Another thing that on the surface ...

Very few engines support loading of original saves. And the AGS engine seems not to be one of them.
