I think I need a clarification on rule 0.

I'm still semi-confused about the subject. Let's say I purchased the mac version of MI, but because the floppies aren't formatted for windows, I have no way of putting the files on my computer. Is it then acceptable to download the mac files via internet as long as it's the exact version I purchased?

I asked because I just purchased the Kixx release of Last Crusade for Amiga for only $3.00 and I was wondering why it was so inexpensive. I thought maybe I had gotten lucky. I'm not disappointed, though. The only reason I bought it was for the Grail diary, which appears to be the original version (n...

Does that mean that they were cheaper when initially released? Is it kind of like a "greatest hits" release?

My mistake. It translates to over $800 USD, which is still crazy. Ebay and Amazon are always hit or miss (most of the time miss). It's like these people have no souls.

Unfortunately, I haven't been so lucky. I snagged both the archives and the classics collection on ebay for $80 each (okay $60 for the classics, but still pretty expensive). That's the lowest I've seen them, the price seems to go up rapidly. It's not just these, though. When sellers discover that th...

Wow, nevermind. I just pulled this game back out from storage and for some reason I remembered it being a lot better game than it really is. It's actually kind of boring. The graphics are nice, though.

Well, the 3.5 USB was introduced a year ago, I think, and since then, people all over the web have been moping that there isn't one released for the 5.25. It would make hunting old games down so much easier; I wouldn't have to worry what floppy format it was in

It's halfway tempting to have a look into making the drives though because while there's a limited market there's nothing really stopping someone from making them to order. If I had the money, experience, time, and resources, it's deffinately something I would look into. If only one company made su...

Purchasing Compilations?

I purchased all three of the LucasArts compilations for a quicker and cheaper way to get my hands on almost all of the LucasArts games. Now, part of me regrets the decision, mainly because I don't get some of the awesome cover art. What's everyone else's opinion? I'm trying to debate whether or not ...
