What makes a good game? Graphics? Nah, they contribute to the appeal for the visually inclined but aren't vital to the enjoyment of a quality game. Look at how popular Roguelikes still are despite being (for the most part) ASCII or ANSI character based. Audio: Speech and music are always dangerous i...

Telltale if you have a look at their roster and that of many of the SCUMM games will tell you an interesting story. Namely that TTG is largely made up of the old SCUMM developers. Which means I'm not overly surprised they're deploying to the Wii, a lot of them are intelligent, and actually likeable ...

Being a fairly lacklustre game I've never bothered grabbing it off them, I needed to talk with Tammy about getting a copy of Malcolm on DVD (Australian movie, not Kyra-3), and noticed it was gathering dust still. I didn't find it that enjoyable an adventure game. I found it to rely too much on Jim C...

About 10-12 years ago I had the option to buy Ace Ventura used for 10 AUD, that's 8.49 USD at the time, and roughly the same now. It was in excellent condition especially considering it belonged to the local video store. Still with the original box. They never sold it, it's still sitting in the back...

I couldn't see Jan opening up the source either since it is intended as a commercial product.

Congrats on finding the bug Porter. Should make SCUMMVM more stable on the symbian phones when you fix it. It's probably the alternative issue when memory isn't crashing the games.

There's a chance. But I wouldn't hold your breath waiting on it. The adventure game is pretty uncommon so having a copy to work with is half the battle. I haven't seen it since my video store sold all their PC games (Crusader: No Remorse and Diablo were higher on my procure list than it since it was...

Lucasfan made two Zak games, a ZM remake (which from what I remember used the FMT graphics) and ZM2 as I recall. But there's been more than a few remakes of Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders and most of them have one thing in common Lucasarts have shut them down, it could be one of several you...

Not very easily I'd say. Different sound engines and different game engines. It'd be a complicated mess AFAICT.

The problem is the usual snafu of the inexperienced, do not put the switches inside the "s that's only for the program name.

"C:\program files\scummvm\scummvm.exe" --game_id is correct and will work.

Hardly Normal as well, still have them on the shelves here in Tamworth when I was in a few days ago hunting for a Universal Remote.

Not really roteero, the thing you have to remember is the stable version has a lot fewer features than the present one, and memory leaks could be occuring too which doesn't help. The original N95s just don't have enough memory this is a problem of all the earlier S60 phones, 64 megs of RAM with only...

My E51 hasn't had the problems, but as I recall it comes with 96 megs of RAM with 50 megs roughly available to apps on boot, while the N95-3 NAM is a 128 with about 80 megs free compared to the first model that only had about 20 megs free of it's 64 megs as you've noticed. Low RAM is always a proble...
