The sound and animation problems are not only in the intro exist (just like in the c64 version)! When you use the e.g. golf club on the bus the door of the bus opens too fast (almost instantly), etc... AND the problem on the Mars EXISTS in the Amiga version too! I believe those problems have been t...

Oh.

So... going back to the topic at hand, it's a real shame that the MT-32 emulator can't be used on the Wii version anymore. Just that. =|

I can try to make a comparison recording that compares all 3 (old/new/real) if you like.
That would be very informative for everybody, thanks!

Could you do the Sam & Max intro, perhaps?

Why was the old one completely removed, anyway? It was at least useabale in less powerful devices.

Issue with MT-32 emulation in latest versions

So it seems like the new MT-32 emulator is too slow for the Wii and makes everything slow down with the consequent sound stuttering, rendering it pretty much useless in this state. I was wondering, would it be possible to revert to the old engine just for the Wii port? Or have an option to select be...

The latest version I've tried still renders Indy 3 unplayable because of this inability to fight... It's too late to ask again for a fix in this port, right? :(

Yeah, it always worked full speed in previous versions.

I guess the new MT-32 emulator is more accurate and thus it needs more powerful specs, or something?

Hey thanks, that does work!

...But I'm getting a lot of sound stuttering in that version with the MT-32 sound enabled, what a shame. :(

Perhaps it could be mapped to shaking the Wiimote?

A gimmick for a gimmick, that is.

I second this request.

I've bought the Special Edition on PC and would love to replay it in this emulator, since it's never going to be released on Wii.

Somebody, pretty please?

Hmm, it would be very interesting if SCUMMVM was able to auto-choose between MT-32 and CM-32L to make each game sound as the developers intended.

But in any case, is anybody keeping track on how accurate is overall MT-32 emulation in SCUMMVM? Is there a list with the known inaccuracies?

That's what I was wondering, shame that it doesn't share any of those.

Anything is possible. What you need is someone willing to put in the thousands of hours of hard work that is required to support a game. And for free none the less. Are you? If you are looking for a yes or no answer, don't hold your breath. He might be looking for a more technical answer from a SCU...
