I've fixed it the clem way though - removed the "new topic" button altogether. It doesn't make sense in that context plus it's not clear in which forum the post will end up if click there - make more sense to create a new post from the forum index and not a post Actually I thought of prop...

Use PNG with alpha transparency so they'll antialias themselves to whatever background. Usability issue that could be corrected in the new design: The forum regulars are probably used to it as it is, but as a newbie, every time I'm trying to reply a thread, I find myself typing a new topic. It's the...

Now, as an FMV-puzzler sorta game, do you think it really is in the scope of ScummVM?

Have you tried adding the game to the list of games? I've not actually seen this particular version in action, but on the PC and PocketPC you Add Game... and tell ScummVM the location where to look for supported games, in your case the 'Other' folder you mentioned. ScummVM should recognise the MI2 d...

But yeah everything looked smooth because of the TV-style monitors. Plus did the resolution have anything to do with it? The Amiga 1200 ran at 640x480, didn't most PCs run at 320x240 in the old days when MI2 was released? Typically the used resolution was 320x200. I remember this "way too cris...

Just my two cents, being a tracker musician for a decade: If MT-32 emulation at its best (haven't heard) isn't enough quality, I seriously doubt module formats would be much better. The traditional 2nd generation formats just don't have the basic effects like reverb and chorus MIDI people are used t...

"Monty Python and the Holy Grail 2: The Untold Story of the Knights who say Ni!" without any of the Monty's. You know, that right there (especially the part " without any of the Monty's ") sounds just a tad too insane to be possible without any of the Monty's. Btw, is the offici...

Also, the CD isn't bitchy about what codes you enter in the copy protection check at startup. Or is it just the ScummVM effect and I've long since forgotten what it was like going all native?

The breakout in BS1 installer is probably the most challenging one of all time because it's so jerky. It's a good thing you can't run out of lives. Especially if Game Over meant aborting the installation. ;)

Where's this line from?

Ok, on my way to work this morning, a phrase popped into my head and I'm almost entirely sure it's from a part of the point'n'click universe which ScummVM has already harnessed. It goes a little something like this: "If ya ask me, I'd say his time would be better spent sizing up the place for s...

Yes, unattended game completion is a must for v10 with the options of directing all audio and video output to dev/null or alternatively watching the feed of ScummVM's/the game's internal messages. That way you could finish several adventures during a day at home over ssh at the same time you're work...
