You are not allowed to transfer interpreted code onto the device and subsequently run it! Office files (.doc, .ppt, .html, .pdf, etc.) are not interpreted code...

Hence they can't be downloaded to the device by ScummVM.
Chiffa wrote:But would adding a File Server feature (like Quickoffice files and lots of other apps like that) not solve that?
No. "Can't" doesn't mean it's a technological issue. It means "you must not".

No int...

To add on that, this is not a technical issue. It is restricted by Apple, as stated in their EULA.

re: coverflow

Erica Sadun of TUAW fame just released a proof of concept app that builds on coverflow; so it IS doable! So having a game browser like that could actually work.

Hm, I have no 1.1.3 to test, but fom what I've read is that 1.1.3 executes programs not as the "root" user (as it used to do su up til 1.1.2), but as the "moble" user instead. So as a wild guess, try setting your file attributes to 777, to give all users all rights to execute the...

Hehe well, the accelerometer was just a wild guess. And since the bug first appeared after switching from landscape to portrait mode and back, I figured it was the accelerometer that noticed which mode was to use.. But since I still can't reproduce the bug, I assume it must've been something else (m...

Update: I tried a few other games (MI2, Zak or Indy 4) and these worked fine. Then I tried MI1 again, and I could not reproduce the bug, the game behaved as it should! I also pushed the home button to return to SpringBoard and then go back into ScummVM, and it's still fine! I'm of course happy the b...

Guybrush walks left - bug in MI1

First of all, thanks for the latest version, the sleepmode is a wonderful addition, and the "ON" looks really good! But I just discovered something weird: I opened Monkey Island 1 to test it, and the following happens: As soon as the game starts (after the few intro scenes), Guybrush has a...

You can try to play a piece of music or a video right before, and turn the volume up there, and then you start ScummVM again.
