PS3Linux will probably not be needed anymore soon, since the PS3 has recently been hacked to support homebrew binaries. No, it wasn't. It got "hacked" for pirating only. And my guess is that this "hack" is actually a secret key used by Sony for fixing consoles and not a real hac...

Those look like .HQX self extracting archives. Don't know a Windows app that will open that, but it must be out there.

Could it be a permission problem, don't know if the iq file is created in the save game dir (~/Documents/ScummVM\ Savegames/) or the game dir, but make sure both are writeable?
