on s60 version3 devices it is the backspace key, above enter. the "." (next to the return key) skips individual lines of text. the "," (next to ".") toggles turbo mode.

Unfortunately, I do not know of a way to skip the copy protection screen.

The solution is annoying, but simple... although the backlight will go off after the phone's set-up timer, but to turn on the backlight on any Nokia phone running s60 v3, you have to open ScummVM, hit the red "end call" button, and then re-enter scummvm. Now you can see it, very bright, just right, ...
