Well, if you know your way around your system directories, you can inject the updated kyra.dat into the installed ScummVM data to avoid the repetition of this same bug. Y'know?

My main home machine (WinXP), my mobile (SE W950i, running UIQ3), my PSP (CFW 3-90M33-3 if you care), and several laptops of varying WinXP revisions and ownership status. If we're talking builds, then "3". Voted for 4-5 as if we're talking actual devices, then it's "5" :)

I know, it's just that you guys have had the scariest and most believable April's Fool jokes in the preceding years, so I wanted to be on the safe side :)

But there's a keymapper function built into the Symbian version of ScummVM! You can redefine any key of your mobile to do whatever you want it to do. Well, within the program's functions, naturally.

Could we at least know which particular platform is the game being run on? Win32, Mac, PSP, C64 or whatever else? Are you running the game off the discs or from copied data? That's usually the reason for most of the issues you describe. Completed the game via ScummVM in 0.9.1 and 0.10.0 on Win32 on ...

You might want to use the 0+2 keycombo within ScummVM to flip the screen by its own means and see where that gets you. Just in case.

Well, the generic shortkeys are the same among all phones. Those are 0+1, 0+2, etc. 0+4, IIRC, is what you need.

Don't know about the P1i, but you can't do it on a W950. I kinda got used to flicking the left-mouse-button to right-mouse-button switch every so often to keep it from blanking.

I assume you've placed the EBOOT correctly and everything, right? As in PSP/GAME/scummvm-0.11.0-psp (the last one being a copy of the contents of the single-eboot build)? Sorry if this looks insulting to your intelligence, but this kind of mistakes is the cause of 96% of problems I ever see in the S...

clem, it's already included in most of the non-Windows builds by default. In the PSP one as well, so it can't be that.

Well, for starters, it would be nice to know which version of ScummVM you are running and why aren't you using the latest custom firmware (which is, IIRC, 3.90 M33-2, at least that's what I have and ScummVM 0.11.0 runs mighty well on it). And then we'll go from there.

Don't forget to set the SAVE path in the options of ScummVM before launching any games with it. And bear in mind to use something other than the root of the memory card/media memory for it, as it seems to be a surprisingly touchy subject for any version of Symbian.

This gotta be printed someplace in very biiig letters, I think. DO NOT USE THE MEMORY CARD ROOT FOR ANYTHING IN SCUMMVM! Now that my tantrum is out of the way, let me reiterate. Symbian has biiiig issues with anything being in the root of anything, so you really should consider making your own subdi...

Yeah, there's several things you have to do before you can descend even after the statue automagically appeared once you've done the light manipulation properly. It's probably because you haven't followed the walkthrough to the letter and the necessary requirement was an action the walkthrough sugge...
