Ripper Support

Hi

I was just wondering if there are any plans, or if it's been discussed, about adding support for the Ripper adventure game with Christopher Walken? I'm looking at picking up a copy some time and noticed it's not listed under the supported games list yet.

Thanks

Phantasmagoria - could this be a bug? (spoilers)

Hi Before I post this bug officially, I thought I'd ask here first as I'm not sure if it is or not. So I was wondering if anyone can confirm...? Whilst playing through the final chase sequence in Chapter 7, I got to the point where you obtain the snowman amongst the rags on the floor. After that, yo...

Re: Wow...!

Okay, I tried removing the .SFX and .AUD at the ends of the files and the error no longer shows. :) Also, I'm not getting music on the main menu, which I wasn't getting before.

Re: Wow...!

Oh, I see. It's just that, for some reason, if I remove the .SFX or .AUD part, it asks me to confirm if I want to remove the file extension. Doing so just lists the files as 001, 002 etc rather than by their proper extension. Like so: explorer_J7G9h0GwLH.png explorer_X1f4s8BJ2a.png Which to me, didn...

Re: Wow...!

Okay, this thread may need to be turned into a support one. I finally got my copy of the game, and looking up the Wiki page for it, I've (as far as I know) copied and pasted all the relevant files, which seems to be everything off each of the 7 discs. Now, I'm not sure if I've failed to do something...

Wow...!

Hi It's been some time since I used and posted on the ScummVM forums, or even played a classic adventure game through ScummVM. But recently I've gotten back into buying classic big boxed PC games, and one game I won in an auction yesterday was Phantasmagoria, which I've heard/read about for years, b...

By the way, which email address do I use to contact the team?

Oh. Well that's sure awkward... :? I could've sworn it said 'P' for pause, but no, it does say 'pause' - as in the pause key.

I guess you can delete this thread then. Though the password reset link in the emails I mentioned don't work, so I guess the thread wasn't completely worthless

Simon the Sorcerer 2 Pause Key

First of all, after struggling to log on due to forgetting my password, having an email sent to me to reset it doesn't work. The link in the email takes me to a 'Not Authorised' page. I tried contacting ScummVM via Twitter and facebook about it and received no response. It was only thanks to a rando...

Yes, I'm aware there are other means of playing the games, but I just want ScummVM as my main hub for playing these old classics with.

Once the games are supported it'd be a perfect excuse to replay them and test them out for bugs. :)

That's a shame. I was rather hoping it'd be supported sometime before the 20th Anniversary Edition comes out, so I can replay it. :(

I had tested it more recently than 4 years ago, but it still seems to run better now than it did. :)

Gabriel Knight Support

How's the progress coming along for Gabriel Knight 1 and 2? Are we getting closer to it being officially supported yet?

I just tested the first game with the daily build and it appears more stable and playable than the last time I tried it. :)

I've gotta get this off my chest as it's been annoying me whenever I post here: Now, I love the work you guys do, really, but in my opinion, there are a number of members/mods here who are either being strict, grumpy, uptight, ignorant or anal about the rules when someone asks for help! Just sayin'....

How do you put games on the iPhone?

I've managed to get ScummVM installed on my iPhone no problem, but I haven't got the faintest idea how to put the game files on. I've already checked the Wiki, but I'm none the wiser... :? I have FileZilla installed, but I don't know what I'm supposed to do or how to do it. And how do you access '/v...
