Have you tried putting the audio files into a seperate folder, loading up ScummVM, going to 'Edit Game...', going to the 'Paths' tab, the 'Extras' tab, and selecting the folder you put the audio files in?

I know ScummVM supports the original .smk videos now, but do the music files still need to be converted to .mp3?

I'll give your article a read a bit later as Simon the Sorcerer was also my first adventure game. :) I remember me and my brother watching a friend play it, when we were round his house every Tuesday evening, years ago (1993-1995?). We were mesmerized by its graphics - the fact that the game's world...
