A book on classic adventure games.

I hope I'll be forgiven the plug, but I figured this might be of interest for many here. A site I contribute to, Hardcore Gaming 101, has recently compiled a book on classic graphic adventures. With 300 game introductions on 772 pages and a couple of developer interviews, the book focuses on the pre...

Yeah, that would be fine. A few GP2X ports of other games do similar by simply providing two executables (Abuse and Albion I remember specifically).

Re: 320x200

Can you provide a LOT more information on that statement, version of the backend used, game used, steps to reproduce it etc.. Is it occurring in low or high resolution games? Alright, here we go: Version is 1.2.0svn52631 for GP2X Wiz The bug applies to all 320x200 games I've tested (Indiana Jones &...

320x200

Would it be possible to have games running in 320x200 resolution displayed vertically centered in the future (when aspect ratio correction is turned on)?

Also, stretch to fullscreen mode (fullscreen and aspect ratio correction off) works only sporadically for me (on a Wiz)

I now set the music to Adlib and MAME OPL according to your blog post to be able to run the Scumm games, and as a nice side-effect, the music in LSL6 now runs perfectly fluid. The game itself runs still rather slow, though.

Left Trigger + Y Left Trigger + Touchscreen 'Tap' Those commands are very impractical for left-handed users so far. I know the controls are still somewhat preliminary, just posting to make sure we lefties won't be forgotten :) It would also be cool to have an option to set the right click to a doubl...

No, it's the low res version to begin with, Larry 5 and 1VGA are also slow (with standard 533MHz), but not as bad as 6 (in 700MHz or probably even less they run fine).

I tested the rest of the Larry series now. I get the same pointer problem in LSL5 and LSL1VGA, but not LSL3.

Also most SCUMM engine games don't seem to work, anymore.

SCI (LSL6) control issues on Wiz

I don't know if this applies for all SCI games, but I'm experiencing problems with the controls in Leisure Suit Larry 6 with the lates build (1.2.0svn52440). Each time I click on a spot on the touchscreen, the cursor will go to that place, but the selected action is executed to the spot where it was...

GOG is awesome. Too bad they don't have LucasArts games. You folks may also want to go there via the "Buy Supported Games" link at the top of every forum page. You can from there proceeed to the Christmas Sales page with one further click, but now they'll log ScummVM as referrer, and we ge...

Is there a way to turn off the filter with the Steam executable? And to make the sound suck less? (I've tested with Indy Atlantis)

Well, it's a strange thing with the name nowadays, anyway ;).

Maniac Mansion's compatibility page doesn't list the japanese Famicom version...

I suppose that would be another "most likely never" game, though, doesn't seem to use the Scumm-Engine.

I don't think I've ignored "all the questions", though I have to admit that I kinda read over the important paragraph in his last post.

The Extra path was pointing at the scummvm folder and changing it did finally solve the problem. Thanks all, especially eriktorbjorn.
