I would suggest you post up a bug on bugzilla here:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_i ... tid=418820

Then one of the coders for the Simon engine will get to it.

Please be as detailed as possible on how to reproduce it, and perhaps even include a savegame just before the crash.

There's an update on Kyrandia & Simon 2. Kyrandia's pause on startup has been reduced to 10 seconds now, which I see as perfectly acceptable. It's not something I did, one of the other developers must be working on it. I also got Simon 2 to work, although there are still some memory issues to wo...

The games ScummVM supports all use different graphic formats and pack them into archives in different ways. There is only a loader for most of these formats, but no tools to create or modify them. To scale down the images, we'd need to create a tool for extracting the assets, and something to conver...

Members of the ScummVM team are currently in negotiation with the creators of the Discworld games in order to get the source code. If this happens, then Discworld will be added to ScummVM, although it will take a while. As for other games, you would need to get the source code to the game, or it wou...

Kyrandia works, but it has a ~30 second pause at the start while it loads. Simon 2 I haven't looked at yet. I'm not sure whether I'm going to have much spare time to work on ScummVM in the next few weeks, as other things are taking up my time at the moment. EDIT: I don't have a suitable beta to rele...

I don't really know, but probably.

I could definately release a beta version before the release though.

I'm hoping to do a version whenever the ScummVM team release version 0.9.1. I'm not sure when that will be.

On http://scummvm.drunkencoders.com I wrote: There is no support for Full Throttle, The Dig, or The Curse of Monkey Island because of memory issues. There simply is not enough RAM on the DS to run these games. And yes DenGladeBargaren, the drivers in binary format are useless. Besides, I am not work...

Commpressed MP3 speech will always be slow on ScummVM DS, as the DS is just not fast enough to decompress the audio, which can make the audio stutter. I would only suggest using it as a last resort if your card cannot fit the uncompressed audio. It works better on some of the older games which leave...

Talkie games don't work with the zip method. For that, you're going to have to have one of the supported cards, and there's no way around that.

And yes, most people on here posting with problems just haven't installed it properly, most of them because they don't know how to use their card readers.

I have made some progress with Kyrandia 1, although there are some more issues to work out. Simon 2 I haven't looked at yet, but it looks quite similar to Simon 1 so there may be something simple that is preventing it from working. Zooming the view all the way out is something very easy to implement...

Yeah, I have an Mk3 and it's not a good card at all. It's not a slot-2 device, so the Zip file method won't work with it, and although it does seem to have a fat driver, it didn't work when I tried it. Although there is still hope - the hardware specs are available so it is possible to write a worki...
