Right. I did read the error messages quickly and didn't spot that it's from attempting to load two different shaders. However the error do indicate that ScummVM could not locate needed files for the shaders, and those files seem to be expected to reside within the respective folders of the shaders. ...

From the error message it seems that the crt-lottes shader depends on files from the "crt-royale" folder, so you should extract that folder too and put it on the same path "level" as the "crt-lottes" shader (and *not* inside that folder). Then try again.

Is there any way to restore the overwritten save game? I don't think there's any way for that, unless you kept a backup copy of your saved games folder some time beforehand. As far as I know, there are currenlty no plans for resuming support for such old devices. You may try with one of the legacy versions of ScummVM . Hi there! The version that gets downloaded by default using the terminal on Rasberry PI is 2.20. After some fiddling, I did manage to get version 2.80 but the same thing happened. Which version of ScummVM are you testing with?

DId you switch versions especially backwards, eg. from a daily dev build (2.9.0git) to 2.8.0?
