Re:

Interesting. I've also manually disabled LSL2's protection scheme before.... well, sort of. All I did was extract the appropriate script file out of the first RESOURCE file, run it through a hex-editor, locate the numbers (which are conveniently found at the end of the file), and change them all to...

Would be great if this could make it into the GUI.

Dumb question: How do I (enduser, not dev) use the patch or is this a dev-only thing?
Please forgive my lack of knowledge.

SCI0 Midi Support on Windows?

I noticed that SCI0 Games don't seem to have Midi-Support in ScummVM. I used the recent Daily Snapshot (win32) and tried to get my (real) MT-32 working but it seems that no midi data is sent. Neither to the windows midi-device nor to the emulation. Is Midi for SCI0 Games just temporary deactivated a...

Looks quite nice... maybe I'll purchase one.

IMHO this deserves at least a "sticky" or some link on the mainpage, doesn't it?

@sev:
Good to hear

@Mud:
My concern is more the lack of the original behavior, than the annoyance the check causes. And by the way... F5 doesn't work. You have to use F7 to restore a saved game, to which the game only responses AFTER the age check.

It was a "feature" or let's call it a backdoor of the original interpreter. Al Lowe used it for himself during public presentations at the time (so he stated in an interview in a late 80's issue of a german gaming mag). Sierra left it in the release versions just like other debug commands ...

Leisure Suit Larry 1 - bypass age verification?

The original interpreter of Larry let you bypass the age verification quiz by pressing and holding ctrl-alt-x during the titlescreen. Is there any way to achieve the same in ScummVM?

Becoming 33 this year. Got my first contact to Maniac Mansion on the C64 at the age of 11 or 12 in the late 80's. I got the first floppy release of MM in the big box with the pinboard poster... three years later I sold it to a second hand software shop for maybe 10 DM (5 Euro)... shame on me, but I ...

Oops... sorry. I have read the rules but didn't notice the "feature request"-part after "bug-tracking".

Well, please delete this thread or move it to the junkyard.

Feature request: Midi-device selection

Hi everyone and thanks to Ender for activating my account ;) Feature request: Midi-Device selection I use several midi-devices/ports (MT-32, SC-55, SB Synth, Windows Wavetable) and it's a pain in the ass to change the standard device (under WinXP) every time I play a different game. Under Vista, it'...
