Trying to run Drascula but i get the error: File 'drascula.dat' is wrong version. Expected 4 but got 2. Get it from the ScummVM website. Then later: Was my fault, i copy the file in scummvm dir not in drascula. Works well. Does that mean that the contents of the release zip were correct? Thanks for...

I'd like to echo jvprats sentiments. If there is anyone out there that wants to help out with the WinCE port, please let me know. I'll gladly help you get up and building. It needn't cost you a penny as all the tools are free. Some C/C++ coding experience would be good, but a willingness to experime...

Test 1.2 versions

Hi all, As you may know, the guy who's been maintaining the WinCE port for many years (Knakos) has had to step away from it for a while. In his absence, I'm trying to do the best I can in terms of ensuring that builds are still done, but my free time is extremely limited at the moment - hence the de...

The following: http://scummvm.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/scummvm/scummvm/trunk/backends/platform/wince/README-WinCE.txt?revision=48739&view=markup lists the engines supported. The wiki then translates engines -> games. If memory serves, Humungous games need the Scumm engine, so *should* be suppo...

I haven't had a chance to look yet, and it will be at least a few weeks before I do. If anyone else cares to try to find the bug, please feel free!

Sorry,

Re: Simon The Sorcerer on HTC TD2

I have problems to add Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2 to my ScummVM 1.0.1 on my HTC Touch Diamond 2 with WM 6.5. I'm not able to add those games to scumm with the automatic scan or the manual option. Both say: No Game found. Zak McKraken and Monkey Island 1 and 2 running perfect. So I tried to modify t...

The bottom line is I have to use ScummVM without any numbers, right? No. ScummVM without any numbers is the one with all the engines built in. If you use that it's quite likely that you'll run out of memory and die. Instead you should use *either* ScummVM1.exe or ScummVM2.exe as appropriate for the...

I can confirm that I have reproduced the problem on my device. Can't promise how long it will take to find time to look for a cure though. Next question: there are 3 different versions of ScummVM Yes. And the ReadMe-WinCE.txt explains why. Scumm is a combined build with all the engines in. Expect th...

OK, so that's a 640x480 device. I'll see if I can provoke the same problem on my 800x480 device here at some point - but I can't promise when...

AIUI, the iPhone port just decodes the games to their native sizes and then uses the built in graphics scaling APIs to display it scaled to the screen. As such this will result in 320x240 games appearing blurred on the 480x320 screen. It's hard to imagine a software scaler could do much better. Robin

Thanks for this. I'll try and look into it this weekend, and
get a fix in in time for 1.1.1.

This version has been released as the official 1.1.0 release, so just test that rather than this, thanks all!
