Well just recently I finished A Vampyre Story. Probably the closest thing anyone ever got to Monkey Island (but that's of course no wonder given Bill Tiller is the maker of AVS and large parts of MI). Then I enjoyed Runaway because it was different. Not a really great game but enjoyable. Also Secret...

Edit2: And yet another thing that I noticed, the double click speed in Discworld 2 is incredibly fast. I have to mash my mouse button to get "some" click through eventually. In DW1 there's a slider to adjust that but I can't find that setting in DW2. It's playable but not quite a bit frus...

Rincewind has to know that the Barber needs to be back in his shop, too. :P Ahh, I'm such a chump, should finish the quests first :p Edit: But now I noticed that the scroll bars in the inventories don't work. I can resize the inventory window so I can access all items but it won't scroll no matter ...

Now that the second part is partially implemented I really wanted to finish the first part. Now I'm stuck and I don't know if I did something wrong (according to several guides I didn't) or if this is a bug. When you receive the autograph from the milkmaid and want to show the book to the barber in ...

I just compiled todays snapshot (20081204) and I still get that detection error. So the fix wasn't in that last snapshot? It was still missing something. The current tree should work, now. So it should the next daily shot, then... I eventually compiled a build from the svn tree and that worked. Ama...

I'd like to thank you too. This project is really outrageously good and has evolved so much in the past years. No doubt thanks to you (and of course all other devs).

I'd like to wish you a lot of success with your new ventures.

What OS are you using? For Linux it's really easy to compile. Don't know about the other ones though.

All the inane chatter goes in here. If you're curious about whether we will support a game, post HERE not in General Discussion.
Whoops, sorry for this.

Ace Ventura support

This is just one of those stupid "Is there any chance this game will be supported" threads. Sorry for opening it. But I'd like to know: Is there a chance someday the Ace Ventura adventure game will be supported?

I'm guessing that patches won't be needed for Discworld 1 & 2 when playing through ScumVM ? And does that apply to any game played through ScummVM ? Depends on what the patches do. If it's just patch the sound code or some other part of the executable, then no. But if it patch the game data fil...

Don't be angry. Accept it or search another job. LoL, calm down man. I'm not more than a user here, I don't even have any ties to the ScummVM team but I thought I'd answer this question because they have to explain this to dozens of people over and over again. And yeah, Forum rule #0. And if the ga...

What kind of "Ho-ho" ? Not Ho-Ho, Oh Oh! It's one of the recurring problems of this project that people ask about pirated stuff or abandonware because they think this is about "cracking" or "hacking" games to work again. Technically Abandonware is software piracy that ...

OK I got em up there: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2030274&group_id=37116&atid=418822 Tell me what you think. I had to redesign some of the icon shapes to fit but they are still recognizable I think. Edit: I just read the original post again and which ones ar...

I can just clean the icons and upload them in png. What's the best resolution to put this into? The bigger icons (especially elvira) need some reworking.
