Re: Thimbleweed Park free on Epic Games from 21st February

Thank you, caught it!

I see Epic doesn't provide me with a game installer, rather I have to download the launcher.
Will it install my game? Will I need to be always online to be able to play the game?

New scummvm release, what about savegames?

A couple of minutes has passed since sev posted the news about the upcoming 1.6.0 and I'm wondering: are the old savegames still usable? Were they broken between 1.5.0 and 1.6.0 ? IIRC the scummvm save function has a versioning scheme, has it? I don't remember which source file stores that number, t...

This request reminds me of Zawinski's law of software envelopment (or software bloating if you will) which states that: Every program attempts to expand until it can read mail. Those programs which cannot so expand are replaced by ones which can. Adding word processing features into ScummVM seems l...

WOW! The tower level is really impressive and (it seems) quite complete. Well done! Anyway, scummvm tells me to report these data to you: {"SNTRM.DAT", 0, "7cfcc457c1f579fbf9878ac175d29374", 8930}, {"RES.000", 0, "fa342da449bbf87c43b7c8fc51747ee4", 285198}, {"SCN.006", 0, "3...

I want to put on the spotlight my idea about this whole story. Disney bought LucasFilm & all the other stuff because they need "Industrial Light & Magic" for they next blockbuster movies. And aside from these, they are now able to create even more movies using names (Indiana Jones, Star Wars univers...

Sanitarium on GOG special price!

Today on GOG.com they're selling Sanitarium 60% off, at 3.99$
If I hadn't bought it already, this would be the day!
While I hope it will (soon or later) be supported in scummvm, as of today it runs smoothly in wine.

Somaen, I'm actually givin' Rosemary a try for wintermute compatibility and I want to report a strange scummvm behaviour. I don't know if it's a bug or so. Let's start with scummvm main window. Well, if I set in "general options" -> "Graphics tab" mode to "normal - no resize", then the scummvm windo...

I can suggest "Machinarium", I played it last summer and I can tell it's a great game. Graphics are awesome, music is ok and the gameplay works with an unusual comic-dialogues: no text at all! So, even if you can find it in localized versions, buy the international release anyway, since the language...
