My suggestion is to display some sort of OSD/subtitle text for the keyboard screen and the slider screen when a note is hit on the keyboard or selected on the slider (as in, musical notes A-F) if that's something that is possible. eriktorbjorn is correct. It's the custom MT-32 LCD display messages. It only displays when using the MT-32 Emulator. There are three total messages in almost every game. Two that load at the beginning: one while the sysex is dumping, and a second after it completes. Then when you quit the game there...

The DOSBox one is slightly off as well, but not as noticeably as ScummVM's. Both are attempting to compensate by blurring the lines a little, DOSBox's method seems more convincing but both are flawed. KQ2SCI is more than just an AGI facelift. I do want to finish it someday, but I won't use ScummVMx for that.

I guess its possible to add the night screens to King's Quest IV which were removed from later versions. So far only the SCI engine (and not even all SCI games) are supported. I could see this expanding though down the road.

So far, Views, Pictures, Priorities, and now Fonts are replaceable with alpha transparency (Priority backgrounds have only 1-bit alpha transparency). About the only thing left is Cursors for SCI0 and SCI1 (SCI11 uses Views for cursors). :) Myles has been killing it!
