Re: The Fan Game - Back to the Future Part III: Timeline of Monkey Island

It's driving me a little crazy that Marty is playing the guitar left-handed.

Re: Himalaya Studios' Mage's Initiation - Kickstarter

Quite a necro, but the game has been in development all this time and is finally coming out on Jan 30th! Here's a trailer:

Re: Lucasarts adds Escape from Monkey Island to GOG and Steam

King's Quest was likely removed so as to not be confused with TOG's King's Quest 2015 reboot. There's also the fact that the "season pass" for all 5 chapters was called "King's Quest Collection". They likely brought it back later after the last chapter was released and attention died down. It was st...

Re: Lucasarts adds Escape from Monkey Island to GOG and Steam

Mmm. It was there not long ago and other Telltale games are still available including Sam & Max and the Bone games. It kind of irks me because Tales is the one Telltale game I care about that I don't have on Steam. I have the collector's edition DVD, but still....gotta complete that Steam library lo...

Tales is still available on GOG. Seems to be missing from Steam now, though.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, the style has been updated to fix the avatars and unstyled elements.
Oh, nice. Thanks for that!

Re: Infrastructure updates

Well it's about time. Nice work.

Ack. Don't like avatars on the right side, though. Never did like designs that took that approach. Oh well. Still an improvement.

If there were one I'd like to get a hold of it as well. I downloaded every poster and DVD cover art and whatnot I could back in the day and the only DOTT poster I have has the logo on it. In fact, when I made my own DVD cover art using it I recall having to work around the already existing logo, wis...

Only way to do it would be to rip the redbook audio track as WAV, go in and edit the giant track and replace the exact spots where there is music with digital recordings of the floppy Adlib soundtrack. But then, the different levels might repeat different tracks than the floppy version does so it mi...

Don't think so. I agree with you, though. The floppy music is way better. I remember discovering that there was a CD talkie version of Gob3 and getting all excited, but alas it seems that none of the Coktel Vision CD versions of their games have even remotely the same soundtracks as their floppy cou...

Sadly, I didn't even know about it until after people started posting their unboxing of it. So I missed the limited edition pre-order. :(

Not that I had the money anyway.

You don't know Commander Keen? Really? It's one of id's original game series published and distributed by Apogee.

But yeah, out of scope for sure.
