Re: Sanitarium Engine - All help is welcome

Would not be possible to add completing of this engine among GSoC 2019 tasks? Maybe somebody would be interested in working on it.

Re: ESRGAN: AI Neural Net Upscaling

It takes several seconds to generate an image with a high-end GPU, so real-time filtering in ScummVM or DOSBox is many years away I'm sure ;) User prarts writes in this thread : Really low res pictures (VGA - like DOS SCUMM games) takes less then 1 second, it`s almost instant - that`s way I was thi...

I remember that in some development build subtitles with this patch worked. I do not know version when it has changed but the game was not completable at that time.

There's also some pretty gore scenes in Hopkins. What would you suggest? A popup when you start the game to mention it contains mature content or Something generic like that? Hard to tell. But maybe such popup (not too annoying, so only in first run after the instalation) would not be a bad idea fo...

As I said, I don't mind violence in games, even Blood by Monolith is among my favorites. There is plenty of gore and violence in this game, but player must kill only the aggressive enemies in order to progress, not civilians with hands up. Also I don't think that something upsetting is automatically...

I played the game and agree. I also do not mind violence or dark humor in games but some scenes in this game are just disgusting. The humor seemed to me rather immature than funny while puzzles varies from mediocre to frustrating. Graphics is nice but not exceptional. Overall I would not recommend t...

I'm not developer but if I were one, I would most probably prefer definition "completion" = "playable game with my name in the ScummVM credit list".

You have a very strange definition of completion.
alexbevi "maybe 2015 will be the year we get this engine finalized ..."

After many years of waiting it seems to me very promising.

Yes, very sad news, my favourite writer too. :(
I hope that one day we will see Discworld Noir supported even without the source.

I own GOG version of Sanitarium but unfortunately it is rather unstable and often crashes. I noticed that Steam now offers the game too with some update that "fix crash & save issues". http://store.steampowered.com/app/284050/ Does anybody know if it is based on ScummVM code or is it only some minor...
