I just wondered if I had missed some setting. I don't particularly *want* to offload the scaling to the graphics card, I just thought that's what needed to be done.

But if there's no way to get a clean 2x scale within ScummVM, that just seems a bit odd. Guess I'll stick to windowed mode?

Did you try using ScummVM 2.0? I don’t know if steam is still packaging an older version. If it works in that, you might be able to just swap exes if you really want to use steam still. The "About" screen shows it is ScummVM 2.0 http://puu.sh/AkoGv/34ac48635e.jpg It doesn't seem to be a S...

Fullscreen and scaling, Curse of Monkey Island and generally

Hi. I'm hoping to get ScummVM to scale to 2x, in fullscreen mode, without being stretched to fill the screen. In this case, I'm playing Curse of Monkey Island in the version of ScummVM that it came with on Steam. It seems like no matter which settings I choose, it's being stretched up to 1080px. I'v...

It's similar to hover mode, yes, but there's no way to click while in hover mode without switching back to another mode, this'd be kind of best of both worlds, in my opinion.

drag and release to click

I've touched on this before, but I figured I'd mention it again: it'd be nice to have an option where the mouse click event occurs when you lift the stylus off the screen, rather than the instant you press it down. This would let the user find hotspots more precisely and intuitively, I think. It'd o...

I do somehow suspect you may be a bit of a Steam advocate who'd prefer to buy all games via its digital delivery system. However, I see no reason why Steam should be used in preference to any other service. Let's be honest, an online shop followed by a download link is just as effective for the end...

You should be able to get a USB Bluetooth adapter for $20. The "Datel Mii Manager," which I've seen at Best Buy, is only 20 dollars and it includes one of those adapters. I've been meaning to pick one up for a long time now, but it's never high enough on my priority list to be the best thi...

That B-version of the Star Wars poster is brilliant, I love it.

I, too, only see an imagebanana logo for the preview, though. It seems they tire of your hotlinking.

The Lego Star Wars games are pretty clever and fun; although the fact that they're continuing to use the formula worries me, because the novelty is wearing off.

Do you make wallpaper versions of these images? I've cropped the Monkey Island ones into wallpaper-size myself, because they make a great desktop.

The cursor thing should be doable, isn't it? I mean, the DS port has the option of keeping the cursor invisible, so it seems like it should be possible to separate that out. . .

And I know this guy would be interested in such a feature.

The vocals definitely exist in the game, and I heard it when I first played through the game on ScummVM on PC. I think I also had the problem with the missing music for that song on the DS as well, now that I think of it.

Indeed. I think the easier it gets to make games, the more bad games there'll be. Sort of like how blogging changed journalism

Not quite what you're thinking of, but it might be fun to take the audio from this flash and sync it up with actual gameplay footage using your method. :) God No, that just makes MI look .. crap Well, I think it's funny. :| The reason I suggested it is because I think that applying your idea to the...
